The more I see and read of the Belgium incident the more inept the authorities seem. Obvious that something would be attempted more so after last weeks arrest and the targets were obvious also. There should be no need to go into an airport unless travelling, luggage scanned on entry and documents checked +'passport details needed when buying tickets. Random bag checks and scanners on public transport. Both measures I have come across many times. Farcical that two suspects known to police and the third also known and positively linked to the Paris attracts are allowed to stroll into an airport. Picked up on CCTV but information only used after an event, are the CCTV monitored? Why the silly hat whilst what appears to be in doors? Can be argued the problem would just move but at least make it difficult

Can't understand why the need to destroy old buildings with character and replace them with tomorrow's slums. Yet we have hideous empty building that bring shame to the city.........old Abbey hotel anyone!

A lot of loved up couples there. Either getting married, on honeymoon or celebrating an anniversary. Been married for yonks and not the same when discussing when your going to change the landing light bulb.Venture out or you might as well go to Spain

There were a couple of incidents that didn't really shine on Gerry as being a doting caring family man before they went away. I can't really say what but not that extreme but not the sort of thing the average person would of allowed and if did would never been allowed to forget. .......ironically as would be in all of our cases this increased their looking forward to their holiday. The truth will come out in time and regardless of what it is in such a complex case nothing will surprise. In the eyes of the law with nothing else to go on they remain the only two suspects, rightly or wrongly

Shakespeare has been conducting the training sessions as previously. New guys haven't really be that involved. They have been trying various formations, nothing new or wrong there.
