Looking at current available players, minus some of the aforementioned (Smallbone, Archie Collins, Lauritsen) there have been some names linked before and it makes me wonder if there still might be a chance depending on what other offers are out there? Dennis Cirkin - Linked to Burnley and Sheff Utd Matt Targett - linked to West Ham and Norwich Elijah Adebayo - this is an obscure one and may not be one to light up the world, but with us being short of experienced strikers and him being a very different outlet to what we've seen in recent years, surely a look wouldnt hurt? Solly March and Adam Webster are both available but could see them in the Championship. This one also may be a little out of left field, but with the pending transfers of Fatawu and Mavididi, Pione Sisto is available on a free transfer. Has been around in Europe but can play on either side or in the 10. There are a few recogniseable names like Bersant Celina and Jonathan Panzo on there but pretty sure we have our targets focused elsewhere

I agree with statements above that some of this is lazy journalism, Rangers are in for a winger, but they have been after Cerny who was with them a few years back. I suspect Rangers have leaked a rumour to drive the deal for Cerny with Mavididi as the red herring. Happy to see me be wrong if we were going to get anything near £7m though, I just don't think the team evolves having bad eggs like him in it.
