I'd highly recommend Hawkstone Park - if you class Shrewsbury as in the Midlands? Bit of a trek but well worth it. Sandy Lyle learnt to play there and his Dad was the head pro. Two wonderful courses (Hawkstone and Championship) Think you might have to tee off after 1pm to get it for around £50 though

Screamer!

Black smoke from the Sistine Chapel. Cardinals, you've got one job.

Think he might have a newborn baby so probably knee deep in nappies. Not surprised he's not been seen on here for a while. My kids were born '06 and '09 and I didn't have time to focus on LCFC again until about 2012 In hindsight we timed it well as I pretty much missed our entire shit period

Nice list and great that you played Royal Porthcawl. I think the Womens British Open is being held there this year? The only one from your list I've played is The Vale (assume you mean Vale Resort/Wales National & Lakes courses?) Some of the favorites I've played would be: The Berkshire (Blue) - local wisdom is it's on a par with Sunningdale, Walton Heath etc. Stunning course Woburn Marquess - amazing condition but tough Forest of Arden - love the deer just wandering around Belfry Brabazon - brilliant design but a slog for me Celtic Manor (Roman Road) lost about six balls in the water! The Grove - beautifully manicured but a rip off The Oxfordshire - potential to be class if it had decent owners Manor House (Castle Combe) Peter Allis design, spectacular Mate of mine has just been appointed assistant pro at Ryal St Georges and he can get us on for free so hoping to get that booked soon. Will do the whole Scotland/Ireland golf trips when I retire - something to look forward to

Missing my brother @Miquel The Work Geordieon here who seems to be on another one of his FT sabbatical’s. But then I noticed it’s the Eurovision Song Contest a week on Saturday so maybe he’ll come out of retirement for one last night to remember

Be funny as fvck if Zhao's arse completely went now

-31 was outrageous. Byron Nelson would be turning in his grave with such a Mickey Mouse course holding a tournament in his name. Gotta say I've always found Scottie a bit bland/vanilla and quite closed when interviewed. But then I watched his round on YT with Grant Horvat today and it's changed my perception now having a bit of an insight into his personality. Seems like a really nice guy (apart from the weird little exchange about God/faith) and clearly a well grounded family man.

Played the monthly medal yesterday. Glorious sunshine, great three ball group, nearly 100 in the field. Shot a gross 79, nett 71, off the whites which I was happy with. Checked the results this morning and I was DQ'd for not signing my card. What a twat!

Things starting to slide away for Forest

Ryan Reynolds is Canadian. Don't offend him.

Would probably help if the semi's weren't at Wembley too. Dragging their arses down to London on a Sunday evening is a bit of a ball ache.
-
Loads of empty seats in the Man City end. A whole block of the upper tier completely unsold. Success breeds complacency I guess.

Ronnie can be such a nob sometimes but we'll miss him when he's gone. He makes a difficult game look ridiculously easy. Back to back centuries just now absolutely effortless. What a joy to watch.

The silly bint interviewer on Sky Sports asked them to do it and because Ryan and Rob are nice accommodating chaps, they did. But yeah, a bit cringe and unnecessary (although I love the way Ryan picked them up and dusted them down afterwards - what a gent)
