  1. Another standing ovation for Carney, I could listen to him speak all day. The real leader of the free world.
  2. Carney addressing the EU in immaculate French. Impressive as always.
  3. Canada joining the EU as an 'Associate member' is like Australia taking part in Eurovision and I'm all for it.
  4. I wouldn't mess with the Lions head coach he looks like a right double hard bastard
  5. Superb innit. But my eyes hurt trying to watch two matches simultaneously side by side

    Depression

I may have told this on here before I think, so forgive me... A while ago I met with an Exec headhunter, proper high flyer. I was a bit nervous when I met him at a Starbucks in London. We sat down and he introduced himself like this... "Hi I'm Tony from xyz recruiting, nice to meet you. Before we get started, I just want to let you know that I'm ADHD which means you might see me fidget a bit and look like I'm distracted - but I'm not. My mind does race a bit so apologies if I appear like I'm not listening - I am. I just want you to feel comfortable knowing that I might display a few weird tendancies but I'm good at what I do and that's the main thing" He totally owned it and I had massive respect for him calling it out so confidently and once we were in the flow of the conversation I completely forgot about it. Nice bloke and I enjoyed our chat and everytime someone talks about ADHD I think of him.
  7. I'm guessing Phillippa might be a madam not a sir

If you do have ADHD, you're in good company with the likes of Will Smith, Ryan Gosling, Michael Phelps, Emma Watson, Richard Branson, Justin Timberlake, Will I Am, Tom Hanks, and many others. You ain't 'broken' you're just you. We're all fvcked up to some degree either mentally, physically, or emotionally, so I really wouldn't make a big deal out of it. Those who love you will still love you, with or without a label.
  11. Hull and Woad really choked this afternoon 3 up with 5 to play but only got a half. And whoever arranged the LIV style post match DJ set needs shooting. They started it behind the main grandstand before the games had finished and the women couldn't concentrate on holing their putts because 'I am Titanium!!' was being lasted out at 500 db Embarrasing from the organisers.
  12. Stop saying energy you twat
  13. Hull and Woad need to pull their fingers out in this afternoons fourballs after getting their arse kicked in the morning foursomes. Europe need a decent lead going into the singles or the US will win this easy. Shite conditions in Holland so really should favour the Euro girls.
  14. The Falling Man was a documentary that stayed with me for a long time. That decision is just incomprehensible.
  15. Good point. Hopefully the next attempt is a better aim.
  16. He's absolutely desperate. Only 863 days to go...
  17. Reacher S4 on Amazon is beyond stupid but still a fun watch. Pisses me off though that Amazon make you wait a week for each episode to drop. Whay not release them all at the same time like Netflix do?
  18. Definately one of those "I remember where I was" moments in history (Princess Di death being the other for me) I'm still facinated watching all the 9/11 documentaries. The world changed forever that unforgetable day.
  19. A bit difficult when he owns the gaff I guess
  20. I agree but it sounds like there might well be watered down LIV 2.0 with significantly lower purses on a par with the DPWorld/Korn Ferry tour. I think Brysons ego and denial means he still thinks theres some mileage in the team format and also the Aussies and Saffers reckon there's still significant LIV interest in those parts of the world. My guess is the top euro players (Rahm, Hatton, Sergio etc) will find a way back onto the DPWorld Tour somehow, the over 50's (Poulter, Westy, Bland etc) will end up on the seniors tours, and most of the American's will go back to the Korn Ferry or new Challenger Tour. LIV 2.0 might last another couple of years but when the new investors and sponsors realise it's not profitable or sustainable they'll all bail out and it will die a permanent death.
  21. That's true. If they had a Presidents Cup equivalent in womens golf the International side would probably beat the US every time.
  22. Solhiem Cup this weekend in Holland should be a good watch along with the Irish Open at Doonbeg. Sounds like Trump will make an appearance just to fvck up all the logistics and piss everyone off.
  23. We've been around the houses on this one. Initially we registered the car in my daughters name but now it's back in my name (so my son can also learn to drive in it) Daughter still learning but only when she's back home (most of the year she's at uni) so we just get her temporary insurance for the odd month she's back as a named driver on my policy. If/when she passes we might transfer the car back to her and she can insure it as the main driver. Obviously that's expensive but she'll need to build up her no claims so have to start somewhere. Then there's the added complication of my lad just turning 17 and him learning in it while she's at uni. Wouldn't be surprised if he passes before her then god knows what we do. All just another compication in life that I can't afford
