  1. Very nice
  2. And this is why noddys like me struggle with the rules
  3. Ave it!
  4. I say it every year but you just can't beat the Welsh anthem at home. One of the best things about international Rugby.
  5. Love a bit of Danny Care. Would be great to have a beer with him.
  6. Current BBC headline: Forest 'thrashing' Ipswich Since when was 0-3 a thrashing? I always thought a thrashing was at least 5 What constitutes a thrashing these days?
  7. The PLAYERS hotting up nicely, any of the top 20 in with a shout and Rory looking good. And what a performance by JT today. Shoots a 78 yesterday and follows it with a 62 today - what a turnaround. In more important news, had my MASTERS travel guide sent through and some interesting 'rules' at Augusta! I knew about the no phones policy but no electronic devises allowed at all (so no vaping for me ), no bags bigger than a bum bag, no golf shoes with spikes, no sports branded clothing, no sitting down on the grass, no notebooks, no chairs with pointed ends, etc, etc. And best of all, you collect your ticket/badge at the gate with ID then MUST hand it back before you leave. They take your credit card details in advance and if you take it home, they charge you $8500
  8. I'm trying to get my head around the clubs logic for dotting SS all over the place. Maybe they're trying to do it so it creates an atmosphere in more parts of the stadium? My guess is you'll have P/P1 singing one thing, L1/K1 singing something else, G1/SK1 singing something else, and then the back of SK2/3/4 singing something else - just feels all a bit disjointed. Why couldn't we do what Southampton did and have a 'wall of noise' () with SS across the whole of the South Stand? Adding up the total number of SS 'seats' it's 3032 home and 2532 away.
  9. And Dukla Prague away kits would sell out every Christmas
  10. I've forgotten how a just a small sprinkle of HMHB can brighten up my day. Marvelous
  11. Gives me goosebumps watching that back. What a day out in London that was. We had the whole of the main stand at Selherst Park that night. I think the attendance was about 18k and there must have been 50% Leicester. I could post dozens of other examples of amazing ends like that during that era.
  12. There's an old chant from back in the day goes like this... "Sing when you're winning, you only sing when you're winning, sing when you're wiiiiiiiining, you only sing when you're winning..." True of our fans the same as most others fans in the country I'd imagine...
  13. The atmosphere was decent at times last season I thought, despite Maresca ball. Helps that we were winning most games though...
  14. There's no passion atm because we're dog shit to watch. But even earlier this season away at Southampton, the 'limbs' were insane when Ayew scored the winner in the 98th minute. And Preston away last season was incredible and so were many of the home and away atmosphere's during the PL win (remember Palace away?) And then go back to our play-off/league cup semi's and final's in the 90's for some of the best atmosphere's I've ever seen. Of course we're a football city. We're just in a complete fvcking mess right now.

It's still in the balance mate. The survey highlighted a number of red flags and repairs that need doing, so we've gone back with a reduced offer to cover those. The issue of the cracks is the main thing. The vendor pleads ignorance, says they've been their years, not an issue, no idea why they're there, no big deal etc, etc. If the seller accepts our reduced offer then the next step is probably to get a structural engineer out to confirm what's caused the cracks. It seems from those in the know that I've shared the surveyors report with (and my Dad - ex Civil Engineer) that subsidence is unlikely but something has caused movement (possibly all the trees in close proximity). And to add more complexity, half the house is covered by timber cladding which needs replacing and we've no idea what's hiding behind there until it comes off. It's a tough one. The wife loves the place and can visualise it when it's all done. I'm more concerned that it's structurally sound and we aren't going to have major problems if/when we sell it later down the line. All very stressful tbh

Big shout out to @Wolfox and @kenny for all their advice and wisdom via DM's. Absolute legends - thanks fellas
  17. We went with Wizzair to Cyprus a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't fault them tbh and had a much better experience than with EasyJet and Ryanair lately. Maybe just caught them on a good day.
  18. We're all in love with Ricardo And there's nothing you can do about it We're never gonna be without him
  19. Enjoyed that. Proper tough set up at Bay Hill. Think we'll see Henley in the RC team later this year.
  20. One of the many issues with Soumare and Ndidi is that their passing is shite
  21. Dupont has ruptured cruciate knee ligament. Not good.
  22. G’won Mads
  23. I dunno. Football used to be a contact sport.
  24. That football in a library chant is so fvcking tedious
