  1. Imagine the pillow talk. Get in the hole.
  2. I know what you mean about it having to be a midfielder. These pair do it quite a bit (and fvck all else)
  3. And if she wasn't perfect enough, she was going through the next live football fixtures on Sky and referred to 'Notts' Forest
  4. Always thought Kingy was our biggest pointer. I need a definitive answer now.
  5. Eight three's in a row is some going. No better sight in golf than Rory in full flow. Think he might just run out of holes though unless Min Woo blows up
  6. First Mother’s Day in 52 years without my Mum. Visited the grave etc. Sad day. Be nice to your Mums folks, you’ll miss her when she’s gone.
  7. My Grandad died 2 months before I was born and my Gran remarried about 15 years later. Her second husband was part of the D-Day landings on the front line. I tried a couple of times to ask him about it but he always closed down or changed the subject. Can't imagine the horrors they saw.

  9. The joys of booking travel insurance insurance and declaring your pre existing medical conditions. 4 days in the USA? That'll be £450 please
  10. My Dad turned 76 recently. Eddie Jordan died a few days ago aged 76 George Foreman died yesterday aged 76. My old man said today "things always happen in threes, I wonder if I'm next?" RIP Andy Peebles ex radio 1 DJ who died today - aged 76
  11. England golf recently did a review of our course difficulty and decided to reduce the slope index from 129 to 117. Off my handicap index of 8.7 I used to get 10 shots off the yellows and 11 off the whites - now I get 7. As if golf wasn’t hard enough as it is. Bastards.

The US would win gold medals at pretty much every event at the Commonwealth Games so it's a No from me.
  13. If I was a betting man, I'd wager Wrexham ending up third this season. Birmingham and Wycombe have been the two stand out teams really and probably deserve to go up automatically IMO. If Wrexham get up via the play offs that will be a bonus I reckon. And if not, they'll no doubt recruit well in the next window and push for automatic next season. I'm enjoying watching their journey and progress either way.
  14. As a parent of two teenage kids of similar age, Adolescence was a tough watch. Not exactly 'feel good' TV though, jeez. How sad and depressing. Stephen Graham might just be the best actor of his generation btw.
  15. Looking back, I think all the Ecstasy we took in those days might have played a part (well for me anyway )

My therapist told me back in the day that I can't expect anyone else to like/love/respect me, if I don't like/love/respect myself first. But before I could do any of that, I had to forgive myself - and that was the tough bit. I'd carried around years of guilt for things I'd done thinking they were all my fault. But through therapy, I realized other factors were at play and then eventually I forgave myself and then things changed. I accepted who am I was (with all my flaws) but also started to recognise my strengths and positive traits. It took a while with plenty of positive affirmation but eventually I started to respect myself more. And once I started to respect myself, I started to like myself a bit more. And then I noticed that people started to like me back. And then I felt better.
  17. That squad had some bang average players like Brian Carey, Nicky Mohan, Jimmy Willis and Neil Lewis who clearly weren't PL quality. It also had Mark Draper who was head and shoulders our best player that year IMO. But they all worked their bollocks off - Whitlow, Grayson, Lowe, Roberts etc. They'd have beaten this current shower of shit on work rate alone.
  18. Another big win for Rors and he's on a roll heading into Augusta - did I mention I was going?
  19. Yeah, not even Rory can fvck it up from here. Surely
  20. How would you like your roast beef cooked sir? "Just cut off it's horns and wipe it's ass!"

    Daka

Sad thing is, he's got a brilliant chant when he scores but we just never get the opportunity to sing it
  22. Rory just needs to par in to win. No heroics, nothing stupid. Just boring sensible golf please.
  23. Talk about their Lambo's, Rolex's and mansions probably
  24. The whole thing is just shameful
