Interesting point about Rory's MC affecting the crowd turnout, I'll bet the tournament organizers are well pissed off. Tbf to Rory he's a big supporter of playing national opens around the world, it's something he's always prioritized (unlike his US counterparts who cba to travel). I wouldn't mind seeing Taylor win it again so we get to see a repeat of this. One of all time great moments

I truly hope he is contending again soon, he's been my favorite golfer of the last 15 years and I'm a huge fan. I just sense something is off. He's skipping media requests, didn't ring Jack Nicklaus to apologize for missing Memorial, and he's got the arse over his banned driver. Can't see him contending at Oakmont while he's spraying it all over the gaff but maybe Portrush will inspire him. Think he'll definitely raise his game for Bethpage and will want to win the RC on US soil though. After that, who knows. He might be motivated to beat Monty's order of merit wins or Faldo/Vardon's major's or win Olympic gold, but the OG grand slam is the one that really mattered to him and he's completed it. Maybe easier to just sit in his boxer shorts in his new built mansion near Wentworth and enjoy time with his family while spending his $300m fortune.

Can't remember the last time he got a snowman on a par 4. He's clearly in a weird headspace since he won the Masters. Must be strange for him having now achieved his lifetime goal. There's nothing left for him to achieve in the game so will be interesting to see what motivates him going forward. He's moving back to the UK soon, got a young kid, playing more worldwide later this year instead of the US (India, Australia etc.) and got lots of business interests. Genuinely wouldn't surprise me if he ends up retiring soon and doing something else with his life.

Not really into bikes but enjoy the TT. This appeared on my YT feed so I took a look. Bikers on here will probably be familiar with the 'Ghost Rider" but first I'd heard of him. Holy shit

If you didn't enjoy the original mate then yeah, I wouldn't waste your time on the others. You'll only get more frustrated at the story lines, crap acting, and OTT/fake fight scenes Rocky IV does have the all time greatest training montage and soundtrack though

Rocky IV on the other hand...

Really enjoyed the Bruce Springsteen comes to the UK documentary on iPlayer. What a bloke and what an artist. Difficult to pick a favorite song from the Boss but would probably go with this:

Glad it worked mate! If you remember to do it every time after use you should be fine (I still forget sometimes ) I use a brand called Karcher and the model is K3. Nothing flash and certainly not professional quality but does the job for me. Not sure if you can get Karcher products in Canada?

Yeah, we went four years on the trot between 2015-18 when the kids were younger. I reckon on average we spent about £12,000 a time and we were fortunate that I was earning decent money back then. One of the biggest expenses were the attraction tickets. We were doing parks every day with fast passes and that alone probably cost about £3,000 Then you're eating out every night, spending money at every park and generally spoiling the kids rotten to give them a great experience. We could have got cheaper accommodation but splashed out on a posh villa each time. In hindsight the fourth time in a row was probably one too many but at least we can say we did the full Disney experience and more. You could easily do two weeks for less than 10k if you skimped out on certain things I guess, but it's still big money. Would love to go back again at some stage but much different financial circumstances now unfortunately.

This happens to mine occasionally. If there's a build up of pressure inside, it can switch itself off. Try connecting it to the water with the power turned off and just run water through it. Occasionally press the trigger on the gun and it will cough and splutter as it clears the air pressure built up inside. Once the water is running freely, switch the power on and it should be back up and working again. The way to prevent it happening is every time you've finished, turn the power off but keep running water through it for a few minutes while pressing the gun to get rid of the air/pressure so it's clear for next time.

Yeah we rented a van and did it ourselves last time we moved but that was 23 years ago before kids and we've probably got twice as much shit now than we did back then! We're only moving a mile and a half to the next village but we've got a company coming out on Monday to give us a quote. If it's silly money then I guess we could rent a van again but we'd need some help like you say.

That's really helpful mate - thank you for taking the time

Watch this bloke. His advice helped us hugely when offering on the place we've just bought.

You can offer whatever you want. Guide price/offers over etc. is all bollocks and just a made up number anyway.

Finally got a completion date of June 23rd It's been 23 years since we last moved house so I've forgotten what's involved in the moving process. Apart from the obvious like booking a removal company, what else should we be doing over the next 3 weeks? If anyone who's moved recently could share any advice/tips/watch outs, that would be appreciated.
