Wouldn’t be against that at all if rohl is unattainable
-
How often does that happen? 3 out the last 7 seasons so a fair bit. No worries try not to trip over artetas success haul on the way out

Objects in rear view mirror may appear closer than they are

A lot of boring chat to confirm what I said, you were 8 points clear at one point that season and finished 2 pts behind, that’s a 10 pt swing, or in other words nowhere near. I also never said spurs or Man U are or were competing for a title, I said they’ll be back to where they were after an anomaly season. Ie competing for European places, they’re both a million miles away from a title charge just as you have and will be without a change of manager
-
Tbf giving the ball to salah in the opposition 3rd is playing him into a dangerous position most of the time 😅
-
Competing is a big word for what you’ve done. You’ve been nowhere near winning a title and have bottled big games massively, success is ultimately measured by silverware. It’s an anomaly Man U and Spurs being that low down and normal service will resume next season. Spurs have won a European pot and are now in the same elite competition as you next season, but you’ve had a more successful season? Do me a favour

Ange has won as many trophies as arteta in a third of the time in English football. Is arteta successful?

We lost 1-0 think Gabriel Jesus scored the winner

It’s hard to make a blunder when you can’t get anywhere near the ball. I can remember Kasper making a few horrible errors but I can also counteract that with 10s of genuinely world class saves. With Ward you can’t remember any blunders but you can’t actually think of any saves either, it was like playing with a wheely bin in net
-
When did they do that? Must have missed that game
-
Class is a bit of a stretch he had nothing to do against already relegated Watford. People were hopeful he’d be better at claiming crosses and commanding corners than Kasper and put an end to our horrible set piece record, and we went 1-0 down within 10 mins from a corner. I think people realised he wouldn’t be as good as Kasper but with game time could be capable but we really didn’t realise how bad he’d be. I also think people were thinking it’d save 100k a week for a declining kasper who wasn’t at his imperious best in the last couple of seasons, but we’d have stayed up comfortably had he stayed

Same agent as cooper needed to get a double payment and rudkin couldn’t be quick enough to indulge him

Earnings are irrelevant when finishing 18th in the premier is worth nearly 10x what you’d get for finishing 1st in the pro league. Under kp you’ve recorded 90m losses, ohl are hardly a cash cow. Pretty much every club is running at a loss since lockdown. Fact of the matter is that 1 successful season is worth far and away more than 20 good seasons in Belgium. For reference the play off final game tomorrow is worth 220m, it’d take the Belgian league winners nearly 20 years consecutively winning to achieve that. It is less risk less reward, the stakes are nowhere near as high and if kp wanted a nice little earner they could open a savings account. It’s not what it’s about, Belgian league can’t compete with English football in terms of money no matter how you try to spin it. PS: stop getting so defensive and sensitive, you’re quite literally on an Lcfc forum maybe take your assumptions to ohltalk

If this is true I’ll quite literally be going to 4/5 games tops, all away just so I can tick the ground off. **** the board
-
Financially way more than Leuven. It’s not even 5 years ago we were regularly competing for Europe and winning cups. I bet just one of those seasons dwarfs their entire earnings from Leuven over 10 years. Tv deals alone are 100+ mil a season. Even if Leuven got to the stage where they were fighting for titles every season, I bet finishing dead last in the premier would be worth 10/20 times more than 1st in the Belgian league. Not to be disrespectful to Leuven but I think that you were bought as a learning tool for Top and cynically to promote Thai football where the work permits are less strict than here

Does that means there’s legs in the Nelson to Chelsea rumour?

It reminded me very much of Rodgers 2nd to last season. Overplay a lot in the wrong areas but win the game because we had more quality on the pitch -

Wrong, Ben Mee absolutely will be, being released by Brentford at the end of the season -
It’s no wonder they’re getting more and more pissed off. You’d think the club would welcome not having to do anything except sign off the design. I mean look at the sheer difference between last seasons v Blackburn and this one. I’m fizzing 😂
-
I can guarantee that whatever union fs had planned for the tifo today would have been a million times better than the abomination the club have put together. Goat in 50 ft letters, who signed that off? A 15 yo on work experience. I despair I really do
-
Oh right so it can’t possibly happen again then

Luton have managed it. We’ve been trying to get the big earners of the books for yonks, who’s going to buy them or pay their wages? The culture at the club is ****ed, it’s easy street and nobody cares. For the record I don’t think we’ll double drop but I think we’ll struggle to make the play offs, especially with the uncertainty on management, there’s not a chance we’ll get lucky with an Enzo type appointment again. If we don’t go up next season first time of asking, we’ll be in league 1 within 5 years

Come off it in real time it looked miles off. She doesn’t have to be 100% sure either as var is there to bail them out. She also shouldn’t feel as though it’s her fault cause she’s just following the procedure, but hopefully this will lead to a rule change because as many have said it’s been coming, unfortunately it’s been proven right with an incident as bad as this one. Hope the lad makes a full and quick recovery
