Not sure what happened to Wormleighton. Looked like a really good attacking RB a few seasons ago then suddenly ended up playing CB? Same with Maswanhise when he looked promising as a winger before being moved to a central striker. Not getting a penny for Iversen after his Preston stint is horrendous as well

This is in context to someone saying they’d rather keep Ruud then Russell Martin. Im not being serious. But he took them from near the relegation zone to promotion tbf to him. Southampton had an automatic promotion squad that Martin managed to finish 4th. Certainly not a proven track record. Cant compare him to Scott Parker who has been promoted in 3 out of his 4 Championship seasons

Never a good idea to appoint a manager who the majority of the fanbase do not approve of. Just look at how quickly things turned toxic with Cooper

A bloke that turned a club destined to be relegated to a mid table team in 12 months on a shoestring budget.. all while the players arent being paid clearly has something about him

Looks like you’ll be getting your wish then. A competent club doesnt usually look at a bloke who was on course to break the lowest Premier league points total and think hes the long term solution to getting this club back on a steady footing. They dont usually beat a team 9-0 and think they should sign half their defence either

Will be the second season in a row i wont be going to a game if they appoint him. Im not financing a club who only cares about the short term with no thought whatsoever of the long term. Appointing a manager that was doing even worse then us on the basis he had a top 2 Championship squad finishing 4th is incredible
