He's the only one in recent years though sousa being the only other one under these owners that has been a complete disaster. Sousa - complete disaster sacked quickly Sven - Did OK but spent alot of money and didn't get the success needed from the money spent, did bring in Schmeical though so that's a big positive Pearson - Absolute Legend, promoted, great escape, built the squad that won us the league Ranieri- Won us the league what more can I say Shakespeare- gave us the night of our dreams in the Champions League and improved us after Ranieri left, should he have been given the job permanently probably not in hindsight but I don't blame the board for giving him a go after how well we did in his caretaker period Puel - He wasn't great and underachieved but did have us as a stable top half team I think we finished 8th and 9th twice under him not sure without double checking. He also brought in and set up a really good squad to take us forward Rodgers - Did brilliantly to start with won us the FA cup, should have been sacked 18 months earlier but he wasn't a bad appointment in the first place Smith - Tempory manager who improved us from the shambles we were under Rodgers probably would have kept us up if he had come in a game or 2 earlier Maresca - Took a squad who were lost and without direction got them playing as a team and hot us promoted at the first opportunity Cooper - Shit So other than Cooper the only disaster was Sousa and he was sacked very quickly. I would agree however there manager search is generally uncreative and there are some very good managers abroad but I do also think the abroad= better thing gets plaid a bit to often and isn't always correct look at Ten hag at United for example. This board have generally got their manager hiring decisions correct. There is plenty to critasise them for but I don't think this is one of them
-
Oh yes not defending them completely the6 have definitely been huge mistakes and mismanagement I just think generally they get the manager pick right (obviously not with Cooper) just hold on to them too long or mistreat them once they are here I think Dean Smith is a tough one because he was only ever a temporary appointment as by all accounts they were looking at maresca for the summer weather we stayed up or not. I think it would have been hard to get a better temporary appointment
-
Why? The ownership make many mistakes but they have generally got the management choice right there mistake has been holding on to them for too long. Both Rodgers and maresca were recent correct choices. Cooper obviously wasn't but that does seem to be the exception rather than the rule
-
There was nobody left at the end of the forest game the mood was definitely not positive
-
Again though we had quality defenders vesterguard, soyuncu just a manager that was refusing to play them
-
Would Dyche be my preferred option no of course not. In a straight choice between Cooper and Dyche I would choose Dyche every single time!
-
Would it not be better to merge the two and just reticle it Cooper- in or out? Also we've not had a poll yet when we will have a poll I love a manager in or out poll
-
Can we just get him gone and replace him with someone with more than 1 footballing brain cell so I can stop waisting my time checking if he has gone yet please?
-
Has he gone yet?
-
Fair I probably overreacted but I'm just fed up of cooper and what seems to be his lack of plan for anything
-
Where is the interview sky?
-
It's alright watch and analyse the game properly if we keep playing like that we will be fine That attitude worked great for us last time
-
Just to be clear I didn't believe Enzo was perfect I'm sure if you look you will find me complaining plenty about how he was over stubborn. However I didn't want him to leave appreciated that it was fairly early in his managerial career and thought that he would have us doing well (solid mid table) in the prem. At the very least he had a plan and the players knew what they were doing which Cooper clearly dosen't
-
Or less competitive league the season we were in it you had 4 teams that were too good for the championship whith 3 finishing on more than 90 points. In there season there were not as many competitive teams in the league. And they got 4 more points that really isnt quite a few more it's not really enough to say anything
-
What evidence? Burnley are not us don't have our players We beat Bournemouth and only narrowly lost to chealsea last season which are the only 2 games that our players have played that system against a prem team. Look it might not work but claiming that there is loads of evidence that it wouldn't is just plainly untrue. The only evidence we have of us playing that style against prem trams showed that we were competitive
-
Dis you watch the match he consistently makes the same mistakes and waits until we are 2-0 down to make changes. Says he's learned from it then starts the next game ridiculously defensive again we go 2-0 down and repeat. We are not going to get that lucky against other teams
-
Good win! Now sack Cooper and get a manager who knows what he is doing in to build on that result
-
L1 sing rudkins a c**t ole ole every game
-
Can we sack him at half time?
-
We have a proven CB the idiot manager is just refusing to play him, VK has been fine not great but not awful definitely much better than justin
-
Because we have the best squad by a country mile out of the three promoted clubs, we should be doing much better than we are

I'll be honest skipp, Winks and ndidi it can be any 2 of those three and I change my mind on the best combo all the time -
I mean that's fine I completely disagree I think Vestergaard is the best CB we have and Okoli hasn't at all impressed me. Also it might not be now but there has always been a dislike for Vestergaard on this site stemming from when Rodgers refused to play him and it has led to him being held to a higher standard than others in our squad
-
That's fine but I genuinely don't s3e where the love for Okoli or the hate for Vestergaard is coming from Okoli hasn't impressed at all imo and Vestergaard was one of if not our best player last season and is putting in strong performances for Denmark at International level
