I Could be wrong but I imagine it's a respect thing. I think it is one thing sounding out someone to see if they are interested whilst you still have a manager in post but it's another altogether to be having in depth discussions and ironing out details before you have even informed the current manager that they are out of a job.

Not sure what to think about this to be honest he's quite inexperienced and man u still looked shocking in the 2 games they played against us we were just worse however he is young and ambitious and hopefully the players will respect him because of his playing career. Look I said we played better it didn't say it was good. They are 2 very different things. You will see if you look at my previous posts I think Cooper is useless and the sooner we get rid of him the better. However I do think if you don't acknowledge the positives let alone how small and only focus on the negatives it makes you/ whoever look like you have just made your mind up and are not open to anything getting better and makes your point less valid than if you look at both sides and still like me decide he's useless and needs to go

2 points today and they can both be true 1. We played much better today than we have in the last couple of games including the 2 man u games. We defended better and did create chances - if this was an isolated game against Chelsea it wouldn't be too bad but as part of a pattern it's awful 2.
