Have they taken the family silver yet? (I mean, that's what 'tin pot' usually means - someone gets into power and takes everything they can that isn't nailed down before hoofing it to parts unknown (See also: the current US admin, but they managed to get support from an entire political party for that, so they have a fascist 'tin pot' government atm...)

Of course it can (get worse), but I have a good imagination - which is always a double-edged sword

Sand suggests there's still something there

Given the way US Healthcare is going, that's going to be a common problem

This is a pretty ridiculous stat, really, isn't it? :O

Kane was too good for Spurs for ages - glad for him (and England) that he finally got a chance to prove it...

But not impossible (For now)

The problem F1 has, I think, (probably due to the Concorde agreement?) is that the teams also have a say in how the sport is run and it's regulations/laws? If we need motosport to split from commercial cars, (which are still only really heading towards full electrification eventually), in how and why they function, then the foundations of the sport itself probably need to be re-written? We have hybrids atm for this reaon, afterall, right?

I didn't watch, (just followed online) - so that doesn't tell me enough. How bad is he compared to Hoddle?

I asked him who it was who made the album and he said his name was John Montague. I have absolutely no idea who that is.

LOROS didn't produce anything (or need to) - he gave them everything they needed to sell in their stores. As I said, he was talking to them all the way through, only to have them basically stop doing anything the moment they got handed it all. (According to what my friend said, anyway.) Any attempts to talk to them about it have gone nowhere.
-
Nope. The people on the album were already firmly established artists who agreed to help specifically for the charity. Quite a few are also really perplexed and stunned by by the lack of, well, ANYTHING, from LOROS in regard to this project once they handed it to them. (According to my friend (I can chat to him via Steam) there was one person (his friend) who funded - (this wasn't cheap and easy to arrange!) and produced the entire thing and kept LOROS in the loop at all times about what they were doing, and then handed them a crate full of CD's to sell for the charity itself, which they then did nothing with - from what he knows, they haven't touched/sold any of them since.)

When someone puts in what sounded like an awful lot of time and effort to support a local charity that it then decided to ignore, then... How can the charity be worth supporting? EDIT: I remember the name of it now - it's called The Sunflower Album.
-
Nope. Sorry, I personally cannot support LOROS... My friend in Leicester said a musician friend of his recorded an album with a load of local stars on it for LOROS and they did nothing with it (He really sounded pissed off by it )

I don't really know much about him, (aside from having watched some of the OGWT on YT - especially to send links to some of my erm.. 'internet forum' pals (no-not-this-one) in the US) - but I hope he gets better... (Sod cancer! ) My Dad says he met him once, and I'm sure I remember my friend in leicester telling he played (music) with him once at a gig at an army barracks somewhere (Nottingham/shire) over 20yrs ago.

The only trophy I'd even think about swapping for Champions League footy is a League Cup, but even then it's still a *maybe*. -
Hopefully better than his martial status

We're all pining for the fjords atm

What are the odds on our squad being fit this season? (It's shame my Mum has retired, (Edit: not that LCFC could afford her services anyway,) or I'd ask her to get up there and show them how what fitness training (and co-ordination and other stuff) really looks like )
