Do you put up signs that undermine your boss, though, in public?
-
Not everyone can play in a squad. That's the nature of it. How do you know it was 'no reason'. Clearly Winks played as well. Just not professional. A new coach will be impressed. 🙄
-
Not really the issue though is it. If it's a planned Christmas party, fine. But the sign is indicative of a lack of respect in the circumstances, whether they knew Cooper was getting sacked or not.
-
I'm surprised Winks can be creative...
-
Moyes would be organised and keen to re-establish his credentials. Good choice in those respects. But it would be still be a roller coaster I reckon and would fans accept that? Or his dour (ish) personality. Pep might be available soon, mind.

Spot on

A very nice guy who had the odds stacked against him from the off with his background at Forest and, quite frankly a very average squad, that is overrated on here in my opinion. But it is the right decision and needed to be done now. Hopefully we make the right appointment.
-
Was all for giving him time a few games back, but since then, no. A change is needed now ASAP.
-
Maresca left because we were simply a stepping stone in his plan. Owners didn't come into I suspect as he went to Chelsea whose owners are crazy.
-
I don't subscribe to much of the personal vitriol directed at Cooper on here from the start and I don't think our squad is anywhere near the quality some think. But I think it's clear now this is not going to work out for a multitude of reasons. So if someone better can come in, now is the time.

Thing is, he never fixed it last time. Think they'd learn. He inherited a strengthening, growing economy from Obama but by the end of his term, many more people were in a worse position amongst the poorest in the States. He never built his 'wall', he basically empowered Putin to extend his ambitions, and wrecked the Covid response in the US.

Clinton won the popular vote by a considerable margin in 2016, nearly 3 million votes more than Trump, so hardly unpopular. Trump lied relentlessly and used his now famous tactic of name calling (Crooked Hillary) to boost his votes and depicted victimhood, despite the fact poorer sections of US society had benefitted from Obama, although his 2nd term got sadly mired by a Republican legislature. But Biden has lost his way, Harris was tainted and uninspiring, and they conducted a mediocre campaign.
-
Because of what Trump is - a fascist, convicted felon, sexual predator, and fraudster who sought to initiate insurrection last time to destroy democracy. And the facts are that many people in the US actually got much poorer under Trump last time round. https://inequality.org/research/trump-income-inequality/ You and others might know a few family members and friends that did benefit. I have (fairly distant) relatives who are Trump supporters in Texas, who perhaps did benefit a little, I don't know. But they are intolerant bigots who don't give a shit about anyone other than themselves. They visited 8 years back, doing family history, and I couldn't wait to get rid of them with their backward, stupid invective they mistakenly thought I would share. And Brexit has proved to be great for business hasn't it?
-
I think you'll find I said that in a post. 😂
-
Absolutely. He was only there for one term in most people's eyes and she was always going to be (rightly) tainted by the record. A new candidate was needed.
-
Actually, I think the alternative was poor too, but better that than a fascist, corrupt fraudster, convicted criminal, and sex offender becoming the president of the most powerful country in the world.

I am an academic research scientist, but denial without knowledge seems a speciality of yours.

https://royalsociety.org/news-resources/projects/climate-change-evidence-causes/basics-of-climate-change/ I understand science and data. And I manage projects and programmes. All the best.

Another one then who hasn't read any evidence or understands it. All the best.
-
One can only hope this is satire.
-
If you actually read my post, you'll see I've lumped you in with the misguided 50%+ of the US electorate who voted for him.
-
God help us. A climate change denier. As a professional academic scientist I read papers and study data and evidence, not sit on the bog and read the ill educated nonsense of ignorant idiots and pretend I know everything.

You are seemingly happy with the US electing a person called a fascist by former members of his staff, who tried to stage a coup when he was beaten in 2020, who is a convicted felon (34 times), has fraudulently conducted business that has ruined people's lives, is a sexual assault offender, wants US protectionism that will damage the UK and other economies, will demonise and discriminate against women and minorities in the US, and will allow Putin carte blanche in Ukraine without doing anything to help in the middle east. Your choice and sadly that of just about half of the US electorate. Personally, I like my leaders to have morals and be decent people.
-
By all means, nurture your ignorance. It's what helps fascists and grifters to get by in life on the backs of others.
