Nobody has a clue yet so I wouldn’t even bother looking at odds that aren’t based on any intel. Maresca wasn’t on any bookies shortlist until he was close to being appointed.

TBH even if we had a competent board he would still be leaving if Chelsea came knocking. I just don’t think anyone saw it coming.

He always spoke about being somewhere long term for the project. It lasted one year Not actually too bothered when I think about it. It’s not an ideal summer for it to happen but we move on. Doesn’t feel like when we lost Pearson unexpectedly.

I get losing a manger to the big 6, it’s fully understandable. We just really didn’t need it this summer of all summers. Another thing to unsettle us.
