But we were discussing back up? They’re the kind of minutes you expect from a back up aren’t they? People do realise you need squad players prepared to play a low number of minutes right? Not everyone in the squad can play 20 plus games.

You say that but he was decent PL back up for a number of years we were successful until the whole club fell apart under Rodgers…

I guess Enzo sees him as the perfect squad player at either level over the next couple of years. Also means we can a get a fee for him if we sell in a couple of years time I guess…

It will be another high turnover summer i imagine. Which is welcome. Priorities if we go up I imagine would be a new striker made for this football and perhaps a couple of new number 8s. Wingers also considering we only own two as it stands. We would need a new CB also.

We have enough midweek league games as it is. We have 38 league games to play, that’s a whole premier league season but beginning in October. We really don’t need this fixture this year. In previous years we could win this competition but right now we can’t.

Genuinely nobody. People over rated how good the teams are in this league before the season started. I want to win 80% of games from here.

When did we dismiss it? We lost about 3 quarter finals to Man City, a semi final to Villa which we played full strength and also lost a quarter final to Liverpool

Exactly. He knows what he’s doing in this league. Leeds are our threat with him and a decent squad.

Well he’s got 10 caps which is pretty good. He was a regular in squads until he stopped playing regularly for Spurs
