Some players (like Vesty, Daka and Mavididi, etc) did really well at times but also made mistakes that meant they couldn’t get higher ratings. The two that did consistently well were KDH and Ricardo and they got higher ratings. Mads seems to have been marked down for some reason that I’m not sure of. I gave him a 7 as I don’t remember him doing anything particularly wrong.

We should also recall the early parts of the season when we won a few that we didn’t really deserve. All evens out eventually I suppose.

Think you’re on to something there. The game definitely changed when we went into game management mode. Not a bad thing to do of course, but we’ve got to get better at it or carry on pressing.

Didn’t think Mavididi was that bad. Squandered some good situations and missed a sitter, but worked incredibly hard and his pace was giving them real trouble.

Injured apparently

In many ways he’s great. Good goals and assists, works hard and presses well, overall good lad. But he’s missed some absolute sitters. Vardy needs to give him some coaching.

For large parts of that match we looked superb

Ricky’s wrongful booking, wrongly disallowed goal, Mavididi’s miss, Daka’s miss, fluke own goal, and a mistake by Vesty. Sequence of unfortunate events. Still six points clear, I still think we’ll win the league.

Played well right up to the substitutions, though not sure if that was related. Suddenly our defence looked shaky, some mistakes from our centre backs followed by defensive collapse. The ref, missed chances, etc. Bugger!

Fûck me. We don’t deserve this loss.

Pawson actually playing for Leeds now

We are much more robust and confident under the Leeds press than I expected and we are defending well. I wish the bulk of the play was in their half though, if only for my own nerves. Some good breakaways if we could only capitalise. A good half spoiled only by a bent ref and an unbelievably biased commentator (don’t normally notice when others are complaining but this guy is a real Leeds fanboy).

He’s still our best striker and has generally looked very sharp in recent appearances.

Apart from the last 15 mins we just weren’t on it today. So many players having off days with some really poor final balls. Oh well, bad day at the office. Finished a bit stronger so maybe a little momentum to carry forward for the Leeds match.

Daka is so frustrating. Scored some good goals this season but missed some absolute sitters.
