Why are you bringing me into this

No where I live is predominantly Spanish, and although it's a holiday resort, the tourists are mainly Spanish too. It does get mad here in July and August, but it's the money that the bars and restaurants take at this time that gets them through the winter period and allows them to remain open for us residents.

Pretty much anything you would use an oven for can be cooked in an air fryer, they are essentially just small fan ovens. The size of them is the main limitation, I still use my oven for pizza, baking cakes, and things like lasagne and moussaka where the dish doesn't fit.

I need some suggestions for a few days away. February 2025 brings the 1st anniversary of my youngest sons death the very day before my eldest sons 25th birthday I don't want to be at home in Spain, I'd like us all to go away for a few days, and I need somewhere in Europe that will keep us all happy, so my 18 year old daughter, 2 mid twenties year olds in my son and his girlfriend, and my husband and I in our maybe late forties Where is reasonable and good to visit in Feb? I need some ideas please for somewhere we can access easily from both Spain for us, and the UK for them. Warm or cold doesn't matter!

I love Paris but my husband doesn't. It just has a 'feeling' for me, but I've been lots of times, whereas my husband has only been twice, so I think he just doesn't get it yet. Tbh I find most European cities more interesting than UK cities, but maybe it's just the fact they're not in the UK that I like

We love Valencia and have spent a lot of time there. We like the beach, the city, the vibe and the football! Get in a match if you can, and a flamenco evening. The food and drink is a bit pricey for Spain standards, but great quality and still loads cheaper than the UK. The metro is great, as is the market, the museums, and the general architecture. Also the shopping if that's your thing. We've stayed at the Ad Hoc Monumental a couple of times, right near the cathedral and a lovely building, we have friends who live in Puçol though which is a little bit further up the coast so generally stay there now while they're away.

Christchurch in Dorset is nice and has the New Forest on it's doorstep. Or what about Bakewell in the Peak District or Stratford upon Avon?
