That was sexy

Boom!

There's no way they're scoring 4 before the 92nd minute.

I'm liking thinking it's a ploy - get them used to the idea that he's always going offside, might get half a yard's worth of surprise out of it. Yes, I wear Vardy-tinted spectacles.

As I understand it from the thread these are so poor that you don't even have to be in the squad to score against them.

Official Teams who cannot Mathematically catch us thread
HereBeFoxes replied to Aus Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
If one maximises the points simplistically for the remaining fixtures for the 9 teams below us, giving wins to the lower placed when they play each other, we can come tenth. It’s only a point or two to 12th from there so I suspect (but haven’t modelled it yet) that donating a few points from teams well above that to the teams in 11th and 12th could drop us to 12th. Startlingly unlikely though, as it starts with the premise that we lose every remaining game. Will refine the model over the next few days to se how low we can go. e2a: oh I see Xen has already done this, and we can get to 17th. -
One more goal takes them into second I think (at least until Man City play).

Well, if I've built my fixture model correctly: Assuming LUFC and SFC win all their games, leaving aside the 3 head-to-heads between them and us, their maximum points are: SFC: 106 LUFC: 102 Assuming Leeds win the Leeds/S'ton game at the end of the season, then they're on 105, S'ton on 106. So it comes down to the matches we have against them; if they both win these, then it's 108/109. So, 109 points makes us mathematically promoted. 34 points from 15 games, or 2.27 ppg. Going the other way, the lowest I can get us finishing is 10th, though I suspect I can get it lower with some fine tuning.

That’ll do.

Well that was amusing.

I mean you’re absolutely right, of course, but I’ve been supporting Leicester since the late 70s. Optimism will kill you. -

That was tighter than the scoreline suggests, I feel. Albeit still comfortable. -
