  1. Is the commentary 20 seconds ahead of the video or is it just me?
  2. Two pints of Shakey's and a packet of (Walkers) crisps? edit: or Shakespeare's Two Globes? 😄
  3. With a dab of young Hernan Crespo
  4. That first one is lovely Atlético Clube de Portugal for anyone wondering, I'm half tempted to buy it since it's only £40 but I already have enough football shirts!
  5. Yes, he was diagnosed with cancer in October last year.
  6. Why were our fans busting out the Amartey pitbull chant a minute ago?
  7. World class assist from Ricardo though
  8. Meanwhile Stoke have come up with a Mr Blobby tribute outfit
  9. Burnley's new away kit is a goodun Also available without the gambling sponsor
  10. If you only mean home kits, I think 16/17 was okay. The last one I really liked before that would be 2000/02 though. 2006/07 was alright as well but very mid 2000s. We've fared a lot better with away/third kits, 15/16 third I liked and the away was decent enough, 16/17 third (white with blue pinstripes) can't be beaten, 18/19 away and third were fairly good, 20/21 away and third as well but that may be liking them more purely because of the FA Cup win. 2000/02 and 02/03 away were pretty good too. The three 17/18 kits would've been really good without the tacky polka dot pattern Puma put on the sleeves (luckily they ended up coming off really easily in the wash 😂)
  11. It is a bit of a sliding scale, no? We're a club with a bigger, more established fanbase than Brentford are, but obviously behind Newcastle/Leeds/Villa and far behind the adidas elite of Man Utd, Arsenal and soon to be joined by Liverpool I'd expect the club are afforded some design freedom that they're just not making use of, and leaving it all up to adidas so whichever commercial executive just points at one of the options they're given on a piece of paper. The adidas club roster is going to get rather bloated though so I wonder if we're better off jumping to another manufacturer - back in 18/19 the only PL team clearly ahead of us in adidas's pecking order was Man Utd, now we're down to 5th and soon to be 6th.
  12. Allow me to get into the mindset of the adidas designer who was in charge of this kit... last season's orangey-yellow third and the 19-20 pink third churned up and projectile vomited onto a blank (black) canvas
  13. You can just email the club shop to ask for a men's with the KP sponsor
  14. At least the graffiti design is limited to a spray paint effect and not what they scrawled for the matching football/water bottle
  15. Moshiri and 777 have well and truly fuched them Have to feel for their fans tbh
  16. https://www.lcfc.com/news/4061560/lcfc-women-sign-belgium-international-sari-kees LCFC Women has strengthened its defensive ranks with the addition of exciting young defender Sari Kees from Belgian side OH Leuven, subject to league and international clearance. - Sari Kees joins LCFC Women from OH Leuven - Defender has signed a three-year-deal at Belvoir Drive - She has represented her country 28 times The 23-year-old, who has represented Belgium on 30 occasions on the international stage, has agreed terms on a three-year-deal with the Foxes after an impressive career in the Belgian Women’s Super League. Speaking to LCFC.com, she said: “This is a really big opportunity for me coming here from OH Leuven. I have been here twice before with Leuven and the vibes were really good. Now I get the chance to play here and I'm looking forward to getting started. "In this league, every weekend you have another competitive game to look forward to. A lot of results can happen and it's a beautiful chance for me. I like to play attractive football and battle in duels, and hopefully I can bring that to the team." Kees joined OH Leuven – a member of the King Power football family – as a youngster and progressed through the youth ranks of both OHL and the Red Flames to eventually become an established first team player at club and international level She made her senior debut for OHL in 2016 before moving to Genk in 2019, and then returning to King Power at Den Dreef Stadion a year later. A key player for OHL in recent seasons, Kees has impressed in Belgium’s top tier, helping her side to three successive second place finishes from 2020/21 to 2022/23, prior to ending last season in third. She has featured for Belgium at various youth levels and represented her country at the UEFA U19 Championship in 2019, before making her full international debut against Slovakia in the Pinatar Cup in February 2022.
  17. Yeah it's a bad fake The version of the club logo is from pre-2002 and looks like it's printed into the fabric rather than an embroidered logo We aren't an Adidas "Elite" team so we aren't getting the more expensive Player/"Authentic" versions of the kits, just the standard/"Replica" versions that don't have the black and gold tag in the bottom and the BC.game sponsor on the home kit has a dollar sign-style "â‚¿" instead of a B so I'd expect the same on the away/third kits
  18. Be on the look out for a Como centre back with a black eye 👀
  19. Finally https://www.lcfc.com/news/4058871/amandine-miquel-named-new-lcfc-women-manager?lang=en
