  1. Hopefully we get pumped tonight if it means speeding up the process of a new manager. Id imagine the seals are filling their flasks as we speak, Toyota Aygo's & Hyundai I10's across the county getting defrosted. Garden centre car parks deserted.
  2. You joke, but hit a bit of ice on one of those Zimmer Frames and its game over.
  3. Most the people going tonight are not going to give up their Bovril. They'll probably be organising collections outside the ground to assist with KP's financial struggles.
  4. Agree with most of this in fairness. I just wish he would put himself above the others rather than allow himself to become as bad as those around him. Look at JJ, our stand out player week on week out (Doesn't take much, granted). Some of that is perhaps down to personality though I guess, hes probably mentally stronger etc. Just seems like Fatawu's head has gone. Whether hes fed up, or just thinks hes better than anyone else so wants to play for himself... I guess either way, like you say, it all boils down to management.
  5. You know, not too long ago he was probably my favourite player on and off the pitch. Hes fast become one of the most annoying on and off it. As I have said elsewhere, there must be a very talented player in there, but not at this club under this management which is all that really matters. I'd sell, wish him well and hope he flourished elsewhere.
  6. Saw some clips of the away end at Sheffield United following the final whistle. Decent level of discontent shown towards the players which is great. Of course, you can also see some of the fans clapping too. How anyone who genuinely has the best interests of the club at heart can clap that performance really is beyond me. It's generally the same people clapping after every defeat. I don't want to single them out as i'll be called ageist and sexist. Read in to that what you wish.
  7. Is it sheer desperation to think he's going to come in & improve the defence, or is he actually alright? Can't remember how good he was when he played for us what feels like an eternity ago, and never really followed him on loan.
  8. Not even close. Okay theres potential he might be a decent player in the right team / with the right manager but all I am interested in is how he is for us, because thats all that matters. At best he's average, at worst he's an absolute liability at times. For me, personally, hes gone from being one of my favourite players on and off the pitch to one of the most annoying on and off it. Ego has grown at the same rate his ability has diminished.
  9. Any spares going for this? Got friends coming over from Thailand. Cheers.
  10. Stolarczyk- Captain Hook. Top - Parasite Begovic - 1917 (The Year he was born)
  11. Haha What a mess.
  12. My New years resolution was to be more cheerful. There's always next year.
  13. Yeah, thats true, and the KPFC cult probably find my opinions as annoying as I find theirs, granted. It is just two sides of the fence, both passionate about their opinions. I think its just frustrating because its so blatantly obvious how the club has been destroyed, yet they chose to ignore and deny it for the sake of loyalty to a man who's done absolutely nothing for this club. Vishai is a legend, and is behind anything good that ever happened to this club, not King Power & not Top. But yeah, i do agree, its just two opposing sides fighting a battle neither is going to win. A boycott won't make Top sell, but i am still behind it, as much as the end result might be pointless.
  14. A species that tend to lurk, rather than make themselves known. When antagonised, they can be known to pop out of their nest and remind you that we were in league 1 once. They tend to stay in groups, they come out together to show support for each other's comments. Theres a few that travel further afield from the nest and live amongst us in this forum. They can usually be distinguished because they'll make it clear they've been a fan Pre 1930's.
  15. In my opinion, they are. They are supporting KPFC, applauding consistently bad performances and facilitating the continued destruction of our club. Just an opinion though, don't let it ruin your new year.
  16. Of course they do, if the seals want to attend and clap thats entirely upto them.
  17. Bang average player capable of the odd bit of brilliance. Sell.
  18. Anyone going to this match is as bad as any other part of the club right now and can follow KP out the door.
  19. Couldn't give a shit & won't be watching.
  20. 200ish mile round trip to go and support this bunch beggars belief. Presume a fair few are going just to tick off a new ground or serving community service?
  21. I'd take a loss tonight if it meant forcing change. Short term pain, long term gain. Pains me to say that though against the likes of Derby County!
  22. Can't remember the last game i have been to, don't even bother putting my season ticket up for resale anymore. Just cut my losses on the season ticket. Not going tonight & certainly won't be going WBA. This is nothing to do with the football, or even losing. Went to every game in the relegation seasons, always went in the championship & league 1 but KP have killed my connection with the club.
  23. Its a bit like choosing between Herpes and Ghonorria really. As someone else mentioned, Begovic conceded 3 against Sheffield United and 3 against Southampton, as well as a couple of others in games and also failed to keep a clean sheet. Can't really say if any of the goals were bad mistakes, or something Stolarczyk could have done better with. I think both are poor, so if I had to choose between one, id stick with Stolarczyk in the hope he develops. I always remember Hermansen though, who we were incredibly blessed with, would make some unreal saves and then end up getting beat by a daisy cutter or near post etc. I honestly don't know, but Stolarczyk is a liability currently and as ive already said, thats as much a concern as any other part of the team.
