Seems a likeable guy which is probably why people give him the benefit of the doubt. Was absolutely horrific last season & one of the main reasons we were relegated. It got to the point where I felt sorry for him having to play.

Yeah, this is the first friendly that I feel 'matters'. Not the result so much, but more so I think those that play, and the style of play, will be a real indicator for how we go into this season. Will be a real test though because whilst they are likely to be good, much like Koln, they wont be any better than a lot of teams we face this season and Koln made us look a bit sh1t....

Seems like Bannan is Mr Sheffield Wednesday. Probably staying for the sole purpose or helping the club through these times which is very admirable and loyalty thats almost none existent in modern day football. Hopefully his influence will help some other players put the club before themselves for a short time through this patch. As others have echoed, its horrendous what's happening to such a big club but im sure better times are ahead.

Wrexham forum is good for a giggle. Its like a load of Hollywood brain washed Americans that have only just started following 'soccer' Just about 99% of the forum describing Coady as an incredible signing. Kinda' cute.

Personally, I think Italian football is a bit more physical than English football, especially at top flight, but id imagine they wont want to be risking injuries either. Can imagine the likes of Fatawu & Monga getting bashed around a bit by the full backs. Daka might aswell stay at home. He'll be spending more time on his knees than my ex.

I always thought Demarai Gray seemed a bit arrogant and thought he was Ronaldo - Yet in the same token, i myself did believe there was a very good player in there. 4+ years on, turns out there never really was a very good player in there.

Don't know why, but just strikes me as a player that will end up having more clubs than hot dinners. Probably end up switching between newly promoted teams for the next few years. He'll be on the lookout for another rushed move this time next year when he's relegated again with Sunderland / Leeds.
