  1. Why are some of us fans so quick to peg a player down. Mavididi has shown a lot already and still has much more potential! he’s doing just fine imo and getting the best coaching from Enzo’s staff. I agree though he has to bring the heat every game and he will over time. Not an easy task! How many of us have 100% productive days at work lol? Saying that we sure could use a star performance from him tonite in a big game against Ipswich.
  2. How does Ward keep dodging the bullet. i welcome any bowel movement in the reserves that allows us to get Sensi in asap
  3. I guess we’ve been kept in suspense for so long the anticipation is killing us. His little cameo under Roger’s only just wetted our appetite. He’s a very talented fearless fox with the potential to be a fans favourite.
  4. Just an honest personal opinion here from someone who listens in from the States. The live timing of the show means the podcast is my only access. It’s cool the BSLB crew are trying new media for better interaction! i have a request; can you all do a mic check as everyone’s voices were really low volume except Ric’s who was loud & clear (almost burst my ear drum lol). It used to be the other way around when the pods first started. Also last pod everyone except Ric came across as either ill or sad there was some serious low energy. Thank god Ric was there imo to pick everyone up. Maybe that will change if we beat Ipswich tomorrow. One final request is any chance you can do the pods on game day or day after please? Feels like too much time has passed to get your reaction. THANX for doing what you do guys! It’s easy to be critical but I support you all and only want the shows to get better. Please get some ex players on for fun!!!
  5. Speaking of stepping up… have we really stepped up in gears and gone full throttle against our closest challengers like Ipswich, Leeds, Southampton? We haven’t done it against teams we know are gunning for us like Coventry! is there a lack of respect or urgency & desire to play these games like cup finals? Maybe our league position and Enzo being new to the championship prepares the players differently from how we would expect from them?? im expecting an all guns blazing performance. tomorrow nite. I know our team is not at 100% personel wise. Not sure what to expect. I’ll take a hard fought draw if we seem incapable of winning.
  6. Must win game - some way some how we need to keep the momentum going! it could be very tight 1st half but the 2nd half will open up I’m guessing. Ipswich may be more cautious than usual given they probably won’t go gung ho. Game could end in a draw but I’d prefer a win.
  7. Well said LCFCJohn. I’ve enjoyed the feeling of being top of the table for this long and really don’t want it to turn into a neck & neck race and all the stress that comes with it. I’ve just about recovered from the false hope & trauma of last season! I know we are still points ahead but the gap does narrow by the time we play on Monday. I hope our players rise to the challenge and go on another winning run. the reality is I’m worried about how depleted we look in comparison to how we looked with our A team fully fit.the next few weeks are crucial. We need everyone fit, not suspended or injured or at afcon & Sensi in. than we go again. Still confident we will be ok in the end but keeping one eye open - this season’s not over yet!
  8. I just wanna know if we can get Sensi in now that Casadei is gone back to Chelsea. or do we still need to offload more players. Christ the timing of all the injuries and afcon is really screwing things up. Preparation for Ipswich is less than ideal to put it lightly.
  9. I do sympathize with Ric. Putting all logic and common sense aside this game had become a manufactured rivalry and one we didn’t step up to meet challenge wise. After all the banners and goading by the Coventry fans our players should have shown no mercy and spanked them 6-0. Piper said the same on bbc radio leics pod. doesn’t matter now we go our seperate ways. We will get promoted and Coventry stay down but if they do go up and we play each other in the prem I want some serious payback!
  10. Well it looks ominous for both clubs just a matter of when not if they get their point deduction. If it’s this season Everton are surely doomed but I’ll believe it when I see it. As for Forest I’ve no idea how badly this will impact them. It’s very simple don’t do the crime if ya can’t do the time
  11. Has he still not gone? Jesus Christ!
  12. Come on lcfc ffs linger this goes on the more chance it won’t happen. We’ve been here before. yes he has an injury record but I see him more like a Bentley sport than a rolls Royce albeit one with reliability issues but when it runs boy is it fun to drive! It’s a gamble like any deal when did that ever put us off. We got the cannon didn’t we? flippin get rid of Praet and Ward on the cheap and make some bloody room!
  13. If he’s fit get him in. Even if he plays 3 of 4 decent games before getting crocked again that’s fine. Just needs to perform until we get N’didi back and our boys from afcon. 2-3 mill is worth it imo just to do that!
  14. Like Claudio used to say “if you can’t win don’t lose”. This has to be instilled in all players when they are playing so they can manage the game themselves. The game will always have twists & turns. Against Coventry they should have been able to sense their grip slipping once fatawu got sent off and the subs brought on. Enzo was probably sensing this scenario hence going all defensive. However the mental component and fitness component have to all jive. If one if of those is off the plan will fail. It’s a great situation to train for as it will happen again and we have to be better prepared for it. Yes the types of players matters but there have to be leaders all over the pitch too screaming and yelling leading by example putting in last ditch tackles, throwing bodies in to intercept, legging it 30 yards to stop the opponent running into our box. These are all the signs of a team on point knowing the danger we’re in and willing to die for the point. I didn’t see it but I did see nervousness, weakness and bystander syndrome. Maybe Enzo still has to work to do to instill this in them? Maybe it will show if we lose our point advantage and are 2nd or 3rd in the table BUT that’s too late. It needs to start happening now! Ipswich will test our resolve again.
  15. Just an all round crap day that started well. results didn’t go for us so we move on. if we don’t see a massive reaction against Ipswich than I might start to get a little angry. Can’t get complacent
  16. Enzo was just interviewed post match - anyone watch it? Nige is talking right now on the commentary panel. Says the result was fair. Let's be measured about this defeat folks. There is no mystery everything that is obvious has been picked apart already. Most of all for me is our mental focus & desire for this game did not 'appear' to match Covs from kickoff. We played them 1st game of the season and knew how much this rivalry means to them (more than us). Enzo is new to the derby dynamic maybe he didn't instill enough in the team today as it showed throughout the game. If our respect and intensity matched covs we don't lose that game maybe draw or even win. How many times have we seen games where a team goes down to 10 and plays like they went up a player not down? It's about desire! It is possible but this was new for the team and Enzo and they didn't react correctly. They will learn. What abdul did was rash and was not necessary - he will learn thats inexperience for you. Ref was not perfect but are they ever? They drop clangers but we can't expect any favors from them. We still could have controlled this game but we relinquished it to Cov and they pushed to win more than we pushed to defend for our lives for a point. Take emotion out that was a really good test and one of the best all season! Yes we failed but we can learn a ton from it and I'm sure there will be a very BIG debrief on Monday by the coaches. Enzo will look at himself too and learn too. It's disappointing so let's turn that into fire in the belly and have a different attitude next game. Sometimes being top of the table a malaise can set it you drop your guard a little and you come up against a team that is technically good and has desire and hunger to hurt you. I'm putting it all down to poor preparation the rest is history.
  17. I get they are tired with one man less and Coventry wanting this more but you can clearly see players levels are down. No mt enough of them are stepping up getting a foot in. Too much ball watching. This is a very good test for us and we’ve kinda failed sadly.
  18. WTF is going in with our club finances everyone? Are we that skint we can’t afford to punt £3 on Sensi? Also Enzo saying he wasn’t told about the club finances until last week after he completed his scouting of new players reminded me a little of the rogers dibaccle. just when I thought everything was ticking along nicely something doesn’t smell right behind the scenes. The club has to support Enzo - he’s not even asking for much.
  19. Enzo just said the club doesn't have the money to get him in for all the reasons we already know. It's really not a lot of money. we have to sell before we can buy? Can we not loan trade and give inter Dennis Praet on a free lol? He's ready made for serie A surely.
  20. Totally agree the dwarfing comment is others opinion. The club & manager are not saying anything about comparing to Leicester. They are quietly focusing on each by game. Sounds very familiar to me. Reminds me of a certain Claudio “ eh just 40 points eh”
  21. You know what I hope Girona win la liga. The best thing that our club did was prove to the world of football elites that ultimate success can be achieved in other ways without lots of money. We trail blazed a new path and if it inspires other like minded clubs to do the same we should support it. If they can match it (much tougher feat) than even better. They still have to win remember and points wise they are neck & neck with the giant Madrid. As a foxes fan I’d love for our club and fans to reach out to Girona in solidarity not envy. Maybe even schedule a friendly this summer? Power to the underdogs!
  22. Can we please just hand deliver him to the doorstep of Sheffield Utd. Put a bow in him even. Just do it lcfc.
  23. I’ll take Stefano! super sexy name too. Especially if he makes the kind impact cambiaso did in his time at Leicester. Of course if he stays relatively injury free than happy days. shall we keep him away from Seagrave and only train with the ladies (at risk of becoming a nice distraction)
  24. That’s not you when you were a young chubby whipper snapper is it Rick?
  25. Happy birthday Vardy - hope you’re having a party! 🙌🏾⚽️🎂🍻
