Sorry, I'm a bit confused here, could you explain this comment especially the bits I the " ".
-
Soumare at any point in any game is Criminal.
-
Marti had just proven what a total Tw@t he is THE JOCKING DONKEY ! Not the sub we need. EVER
-
Oh dear... That's all I can say on the.matter
-
Daka.. OM fu*king G. What in the hell was that
-
Errr, yes. Its the Leicester way😀 It wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be the case. I would love the media to really go for jugular this time, lay it on as think as possible and dish out weapons grade levels of embarrassment to Top and the KindPower bell sniffs However the happy clapping KPFC brigade will just continue to ignore it much as they have all of our woes to date.
-
Cheerio Wout Garfunkel. And don't let the door hit your arse on the way out. Couldn't care less that he's finally gone, as long as we we a loan fee and most importantly his wages are picked up in full it gives us the opportunity to dabble in the market ourselves (just not Lyndon Dykes)
-
Not really bothered if I'm honest. We get who we get. Port Vale as we haven't played them in an age.
-
Have one regardless mate. The fact you have mentioned the need for it is a sign in its self. I used to get really cranky on matchday, now nothing. I've come to the conclusion that it's just not worth it and currently they aren't worth it. Put it on the radio in the background and get on with your day. Or better still forget the Radio and just l.check your phone once every 20 mins or so.

Aaron Ramsey joins on loan - Official
Guppys Love Child replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Let's just add keeping Ramsey and paying the wages of a crocked loan player to the growing list of LCFC cock ups. Hey we should expect nothing less Send him back, and put his and the wages of "Hoolian" towards a player who actually makes it onto the pitch. The lad is a bit fragile and IMO he hasn't really pulled up any tree's and isn't lightyear's ahead of Page. -
I don't think.that would be a bad shout really. Is he better than what we have? Yes .. But it's the convincing him to drop a league that's the problem. Most of the time it's money that does it, and we all.know how fabulous we are at negotiating the best deals for the club. I've no idea what his current wage is but surely it's something we just can't match if we are in the muck financially. Get shot of Wout Garfunkel, Winks and the Jogging Donkey then it becomes a different kettle of fish, but realistically do we see any of them going this window, freeing up some wages?

Ha ha, absolutely brilliant 2nd post, you are on a roll my friend. 😀 But might I suggest an appointment at SpecSavers if you think the pictures on this forum and the televised ones on Sky actually show a crowd of 27000. OK I humor you. (Re the maths) The KP has a capacity of 32,259 @ 3000 for away supporters so that works out at @ 29259 home supporters. Minus your 27000 that leaves 2259. Or @ 5259 if you add back in the away supporters number which is probably what they did for this figure of 27k But even so there weren't just clump of empty seats, there were sizable patches In all the stands (Matt Piper even said it looked no more than 12.5k in attendance) Now looking at the visual evidence out there in the public domain ( see very bottom of this post) if you think that the amount of empy seats equates to just over 2259 (as we can't see the away numbers) then, You are (as I originally stated) on a wind up. Or You need to book that appointment. 😀 Oh just to point out further, the difference we are talking about with regareds to the home fans is less then the away section, and if you think the empty seats (below) looks to equate to about the same amount bear in mind the away section is a corner and a bit and is 10% the pic below show one stand that make up part of the remaining 90% and the 3 others were pretty similar Makes Matt Pipers statement of 12.5K a whole lot more credible...... I'll leave that one with you
-
Ha ha, brilliant post. OK I'm going to treat it as a monumental wind up. However please feel free to explain to us all if I've got this all wrong..
-
On what grounds. 1 Boycotting is not illegal. (it just not doing something or attending an event) 2 If you have a ticket you are not forced to go to the match. 3 You don't even have to answer servey in all fairness The club can't do a thing as not attending a match you have paid for hasn't broken any law's or rules and regulations of the club.
-
I think you may be onto something there. If anyone.looks as my past posts you will see my complete and utter disdain for Rodgers, Its a strong word but I "hate" the "Mother Effer". It wouldn't surprise me that those given the KPFC moniker would also have been on the Rodgers In camp. Blind to his incompetence and sabotaging shenanigans, much in the same way Top and KP are also destroying the club at this juncture in time . Just happy to go along with and accept whatever the club does on blind faith " because we are loyal supporters" and we are "backing the lads regardless " hinding behind the much used immortal phrase of "keeping the faith"

Deal is off. He got a muscle problem and it was enough for the club to pull the plug. Glad you enjoyed the match with your lad. Safe flight back on Thursday.

No way in a million years the obvious drop in numbers tonight was all down to the weather or it being a school night or the first day back to work etc. some possibly but not all. If Pipe's estimation of 12.5K is close to being correct that's over a 50% drop in attendance, what percentage of that is Boycotters is impossible to tell but I'd be surprised if it only ran in to the hundreds that some on here have posted as there estimations. Regardless of the true number the pictures show it was a big noticeable drop, and that alone is telling a story.
-
I never thought I'd say this, but God bless ya The Sun. Let's hope others jump on the band waggon and report much of the same. If others do then the boycott was to sum degree a success
-
Reporter just covering their backside and not jeopardising future interviews, They had to address the elephant in the room and mentioning the weather was a safe option. Only tomorrows media will tell if Sky's comments had any impact or not, I hope so and more media outlets mention it in relation to the obvious reduction of bums on seats and give the reasons behind the need to boycott. If we see some of that then hopefully the message will snowball and cause the required and necessary embarrassment to the Nepo Baby and KP. .
-
So the boycott did work to some degree. 15000 didn't stay home because it was cold or a school night. (The picture posted above and the televised coverage clearly shows there is significantly less than 27000 in attendance, so Pipes who was in attendance may just possibly be right) Someone posted that they expected 400 or 500 Boycotter's max...
-
Spot on. As I posted earlier this was what IMO we needed to happen, and I'm glad it did. If I'm honest the lack of supporters in the ground was more than I expected (for whatever the individuals reason for not attending ) and Sky's comments certainly helped the overall Boycott narative. Displaying the Stats on screen also helped prove what an abhorrent performance it was in reality, and if not for Jakob's performance and Abdul's out of the blue and totally against the run of play Worldie we loose that game. So nothing changes for me. Nothing from Marti's stand point will change he will continue as our manager and his approach will remain as is, but our next run of matches against superior opposition to WBA sadly will expose and confirm just how poor he is as a manager and how poor a team we are under his management, so whilst today's sh1thouse win continues to paper over our very own San Andreas fault it won't last and he will be found out. But will the club do anything is a different kettle of fish. Was the boycott successful, hard to say if I'm honest as The Year Of The Fox said visually it was and Sky helped, but if not for a sh1thouse win I'd probably swing towards saying yes. But only just as the win certainly blunted the message. (Don't get me wrong, I never want to see us loose, hence I still feel the need for a wholesale change is still required and without it we truly won't heal as a club and start to move forward)
-
To be honest as long as words like "Boycott", "disgruntled fans", "because of the poor way the club is being run", etc. or anything negative with our current plight are mentioned by the Sky Commentary team its a win. But the phrase Boycott a crucial at least once. If we also get a drop in bums on seats - for what ever the reason, be it true boycotter's, the cold, back to school, first day back in the New Year, its doesn't really matter, as it all serves the purpose and the phrase "Boycott" and the resqust to stay away has been used from the get go. and if its patchy then it hi-lights non attendance even better regardless of the actual numbers or reasoning. I've said in a previous post that Sky will love the drama. Anything for bragging rights in the media world, anything to add a bit of spice, or an edge to a match they are covering. The fact the match is being televised is a bonus, and if any of the above is mentioned it add's firstly a level of embarrassment to The Nepo Baby and KP, and hopefully a spark for other media to latch onto. Didn't someone else say The Times had given the subject column width with the phrase Boycott chucked in there? If other papers take up the narrative, even just to catch up the others its a win. The media once there is a foothold is a powerful thing as Rodger’s used it to great affect to preserve his reputation whilst engineering his exit from the club and his meaty pay off. Let's hope we get the same help from them, and if it does we need a second "Boycott" to keep the narrative flowing.

Hey, Hey. I drive an i10 and I don't have flippers 😀 😀 It's a good job I'm not going tonight as I've run out of de-icer as well. However, I don't own and have never owned a flask in my life or a knee blanket. (Your post was funny by the way, made be chuckle, but still lay off the i10's... good cars)

I agree, a unified response would be much better. But when you have fans who disagree with those who voice their displeasure at how the club is being run, the well documented failings and then hi-light the fact that Top and KP are the culprits for the above situation but are then met with a literal punch in the face and physical abuse. I'm sorry but action of this kind can't and shouldn't be tolerated and is much worse than calling someone a 'chappy clapper' The very well put together "Reason to boycott" notice earlier in this thread clearly points out our current plight and the only failing that have caused this. TOP, the LCFC BOARD and KP... no one else. Yes I can see from your previous posts you are aware of this personally and haven't questioned the fact. However .. There is still a large number of match going people who are blind to the above, or are actually aware of it and choose to ignore the situation or simply just don't care. But when the well documented failings of the club ultimately role down hill and affect the most important aspect ...the match its self, these people i mentioned above are happy to just clap post match and accept these failings and not even challenge the reason behind them. Clapping if you look in the dictionary is to show appreciation of something, its to celebrate something good, positive and worthwhile. Those who go and "happily clap" a 4-1 battering after a disjointed, clueless, performance because they are "backing the team" or "Sticking by them, though the good times and the bad" etc. are IMO not helping. You also posted recognising the efforts of the players in a previous post, would you consider the 4-1 battering, or one of our numerous poor performances, over the last 3 or 4 season to warrant clapping? Personally I don't, but there are still a number who would happily clap and reward the sh1t on the pitch, which is a byproduct of the failings of the club's hierarchy...
