  1. Strangely if that's the CB pairing I'm ok with that
  2. Or one, he hopefully 'rises to the occasion' for, has a blinder, and stops it at least being a cricket score. No JJ, ( At a push I'd even suffer Hamza here) and he starts Facundo and we may not look total wally's I too echo your good luck message to Stolarczyk.
  3. I agree.. However stranger things and all that. A question for us all is which would you rather have in January? JJ Okoli Maguire Chilwell Or JJ. Wout/Coady Vesty Vk Answers on a postcard please I still think Okoli in a better pairing would bring him out as a player. Plus he's your pace man.
  4. Do I detect a smidge of Tongue in Cheek here my friend...
  5. Oh I agree, we could definitely look for better than Maguire, and cheaper too.
  6. Of course.. in the real world there's always that option. But my question was, I suppose defending Maguire to a degree, by asking who would you rather have of the two. Maguire we know lacks pace, but is IMO an infinitely better defender than Wout.
  7. Ok, Maguire or Sideshow Bob in the defence - who would you want?
  8. You're right my friend, it is a game of opinions (and you are entitled too yours) but I for one don't agree with it. The bloke is a brain farting bombscare, who unfortunately isn't anywhere as good as he thinks he is. Like 'Super-Goalie' Ward, he's more of a hindrance than a help when on the pitch. Both are liabilities. Can we really afford both playing at the same time?
  9. Your last 3 points I totally agree with. Yes Maguire lacks pace, but at least he can head and attack a ball. And Chilwell is a definite improvement on VK..
  10. And one Snowman doesn't make a winter ❄️ He'll still be cr@p and a liability.
  11. I was just thinking the same... We all know he's.... Well cr@p, but to boo him will kill any confidence he has before a ball is actually kicked, and in all fairness what will it in all reality achieve. Ruud, probably like us, acknowledges Ward is a liability but his hands are tied until Jakub I can only assume is fully fit.
  12. I've questioned this also.. I think the potential points deduction ( due to an equal Sh1t show of the incompetent financial running of the club) also took the lime light, so any review would, and IMO it did, hide quietly behind that. The fact that due to a loophole (please someone with a greater legal knowledge correct me if I'm wrong) we "got away with it" the culprits were again able to hide behind euphoria of no points deduction and sweep yet another fvck up under the carpet. Something they seem to be very good at. Whilst I'm glad the decuction never happened, it would have been interesting to see what would have happened to Susan and Jonny boy if the sanction had actually been imposed. Possibly nothing.....
  13. I was really surprised with Kristiansen's performance last night. Definitely the better of our two fullbacks. Willing to take players on, and whilst not perfect defensively it was a noticeable improvement.
  14. I'd never thought I'd say this looking at the team sheet before KO, but... I agree
  15. Scares me big time. Skipp for Soumare IMO.
  16. You are probably correct on that front. However Soumare has the workrate of a dead hamster, and seeing his lack of urgency and jogging around the place makes my blood boil. Ndidi will.never be an advanced Attacking Midfielder as long as he has a hole in his @r$e. But deployed as cover for the defence, I'm down for that, but he lacks technical ability to support the attacker's
  17. Sorry, but that midfield scares the hell out of me. Faes is a bombscare But hey... That's just my opinion.
  18. I guess what it needs (and would like to see happen) is the 3 Caretakers, Dawson, Hughes and Adcock, if in charge actually mix it up a bit, and show a clear indication of a move away from Coopers 'anti-tactics'. Actually look like we have a plan in place, even if it's reverting back to a version on EnzoBall that the majority of the team are comfortable with, at least its something, and better than Cooper's clueless hang in there and hope to grab a lucky goal and a point approach.
  19. Like my previous post regarding if Southgate was offered the position... If Lampard joins it's sabbatical time for me. The bloke is diabolical as a manager. IOM no better than Cooper
  20. 100000% the same. I would take a sabbatical until the 'weapons grade Fvcktard' was gone.
  21. Sorry, but I'd hardly call 6th on 26 points as doing badly..
  22. Sorry, whilst I see your point, and I agree with the sentence, I don't think if we really drill down to the core of the matter that it 100% applies to our situation. We have ability within our squad, and I think more than you actually credit the team with, but Cooper, due to his limitations wasn't getting the best out of our players. The poor on field performances and current league position are testiment to that. A better calibre of manager, actually with a tactical brain, an idea, and an obvious team identity would get a better tune and results out of our starting 11 than Cooper ever could.
  23. I agree, mid season can be problematic looking for a new manager. However for me Corberan would be my choice. He was the one I wanted before Cooper was hired. His Style I think will suit our playing squad best, plus it appears he has a tactical brain.
