  1. This is a joke right, a wind up, Lerch as a striker? The bloke is as slow as Ayew, can't jump for a toffee, and we would have zero outlet or pressing. If Rowett starts him today up front than I'm done with the willy puller. Finally admitting that D & A are a problem and then swapping for a bloody defender.... oh wait, yeah Vestergaard is "experienced" right OK scratch that, carry on Gaz... Banging him up front for the last 5 or 10 mins with another striker as a two I can just about understand, but not as a replacement.
  2. I know what you are saying and agree with your final point, but a lot of others have used a similar phrase to "l can't think of anyone that gets a tune out our squad" Now you may be 100% correct but if you look at who we have appointed since Enzo (yes our current situation and horrendous incompetent club hierarchy doesn't help matters) they all seem to be similar and have all pretty much; A - adopted 99% of the same starting 11 (even King did) B - persisted with the same old "repeat offenders or liabilities" Daka, Ayew, Thomas, Ricardo etc. when showing a bit of bravery and radical out of the box thinking, a few curve ball player inclusions might have had a positive affect. C - never really tried to erase the goto 'Enzoball esq" play out from the back when under pressure or lacking ideas, instead of simply driving towards the oppositions goal shifting play from our danger area, and not inviting more. D - shifted to an alternative formation other then 4231. Not once can I remember seeing a 442 or a 4132 or any other variation as a starting lineup in last few years, we have stagnated on this point and all of our managers have tried to shoehorn players into this formation and hope and make do, regardless of whether the players skill set matches We could go on, I think any true high calibre manager with a brain, tactical awareness, and crucially the observation skills to actually see who our under performing and incompetent week on week repeat offenders actually are and then proactively do something about them (and not do what the current and last 3 managers have done and just persevere,) by changing the starting 11 and replacing the worst of dross where realistically possible. I appreciate our squad due to Rudkin could be better, but even if its Aluko for a a broken Ricardo or taking a chance on youth to replace our misfiring "strikers", would be a positive start, and not just continuing as last 4 managers have done...which is nothing, Look at changing the formation. Think about changing tactics. Better subs. All of these are things that the past managers have failed to do or have been unwilling to entertain. Any manager willing to be different, and really make fundamental changes to our core match day setup and seriously come away from our current stagnated approachs could, IMO geta tune out of this lot. Or at least improve us enough to give us a fighting chance, because we are underperforming and are better than the sum of our parts.
  3. OK I can see your point here and agree with the 3 dropped points. But we need to ask the question, why the terrible misses? Yep Daka, who apart from a "off day" on Friday, normally couldn't score in a brothel with a tenner in his back pocket, and his partner in crime Ayew who is just a lazy, uninterested, fraud stealing a wage is equally sh1t. Rowett's insistence in playing one of these incompetent liabilities at the start of matches is part of the reason I disagree with you on your point "Don’t think he’s doing a bad job at all with this lot' The lack of goals from each of them is plain to see, its something the club or manager can't hide, but it's something they can try and change, but to date haven't even tried too ( just hidden behind the we need experience quotes) Looking at this logically Rowett needs to ask the question why are they not scoring? A - Both players are not good enough. B - Current set up, / tactics / formation doesn't give them or others the best opportunity to score. C Not playing to their or other's individual strengths. If its answer A change for someone completely different as the focal point i.e. a youth player, or loan, or shift another attacking player. If it's answer B then come away from 4-2-3-1 that obviously doesn't work, as our results and league position doesn't lie. Try counter attacking by putting Aluko in at fullback who unlike Ricardo will have an engine and then play 3 at the back. Or, try a more direct route, Or pack the midfield. Or 4-4-2. Or anything different, but come on Gary JUST BLOODY TRY SOMETHING ELSE. If the answer is C then see and act on points A and B The logical points above aren't rocket science, aren't hard to grasp, aren't hard to implement even with the standard of professional players we have, but it needs Rowett to grow a pair, admit that currently what he and the players are doing isn't working and seriously and radically change things and or players. We are predictable, other teams know how we play and how we set up, let's see if we can catch them out by being different for the remaining matches. If not and we stay as is then expect much of the same and results and performances that mirror the season we have just endured so far.
  4. Yep it looks that way. But unfortunately this is now the standard of manager we are stuck with these day's due to Top/Board and Rudkin incompetence and killingof the club. I've said in numerous posts , along with others, what have we got to loose by radically changing things up front with an youth player.? OK Daka had his "once in a blue moon" match on Friday, but it wouldn't surprise me if he reverted back to his normal misfit and misfiring self if played tomorrow. Ayew, let's not go there. Play Hutchinson, the lad obviously knows where the goal is, and who knows he may just surprise us. By the same token he may crumble under the occasion and stink the place out, but - 'what have we got to loose"
  5. I wholeheartedly agree. Ricardo is done, he now lacks pace, and to some degree physicality as well, he's a shadow of his former self and is becoming a liability at right back. We are all quick to jump on Thomas back for his failings, but Ricardo's are swept under the carpet most times. Page's performances on the whole haven't stunk the place out when he's played, and I think he's a better option than Ramsey ( who regardless of his sh1t fitness record hasn't impressed me at all when he eventually makes it on the pitch) BdCR and Aribo. He offers work rate, and a desire to impress, yes he lacks experience and he's young, but so is Monga. Rowett is falling into the 'we need to play experience players' trap, when in fact its the 'experienced' players who struggle to perform and have dropped us in this mess, but unfortunately he's continuing to adopt this view regardless. IMO, It's a stubborn, short sighted practice, that shows a touch of arrogance by not having the humility to admit that he could in fact be wrong, because as of to date "playing experience ain't worked yet" has it Gary? I'm slowly going of the guy a bit if I'm honest.
  6. Yep. Just turned off as for the first time in ages I'm shouting at the TV again. So, as not to spoil my day I'm off to watch something on catch-up.
  7. Oh, that must be Gregg then. I'll get my coat.
  8. Reluctant to use the phrase happy with that, my only change would have been Nelson for Okoli. I'm sorry, I just don't trust the guy not to have a brain fart, or dive in to recover from an horrendous positional cock up. Granted Nelson isn't pulling up tree's at the moment but his passing and composure is better, and with Lascelles beside him I think it would steady him a bit.
  9. OK you don't agree. - that's fine. I do have a few questions for you though. 1. Do you agree that there is a big problem(s) at LCFC? 2 if Yes , Please describe your interpretation of what the problem(s) is/are. 3 if yes, who/what has caused these problem(s)? 4 How would you fix it, what action would you personally take or more likely think others should take to rectify your interpretation of the problems? 5 Do you think clapping and praising a lacklustre team performance, where little or no effort has been put in, where no self pride is on show, where the team in general looks disinterested and can't be bothered and shows no real reaction to a 3 - 0 loss is a good thing, and warrants the clapping, if yes why?
  10. Do you proof read your posts before submitting? Actually go back and read this out aloud and see how, IMO, silly it sounds. There are no matches, so why risk over training at the weekend just to fulfil "the remit of keeping us in this division and he should be spending every hour he can to ensure we do so" Also. Your point above in bold. We have more away than you think, both at senior and youth level who are currently involved with the match day squad and potentially could make the bench. ( see bottom) So I'll ask you this, how would Rowett get anything meaningful out of training with the remaining players that could make it to Seagrave? Total LCFC Players on International Duty: 13 Senior Call-Ups | Jordan James | Wales | | Hamza Choudhury | Bangladesh | | Bobby De Cordova‑Reid | Jamaica | | Abdul Fatawu | Ghana | | Jordan Ayew | Ghana | | Patson Daka | Zambia | --- 🧒 Youth International Call-Ups U21 - Ben Nelson – England U21 U20 - Bade Aluko – England U20 U19 - Divine Mukasa – England U19 U18 - Louis Page – England U18 - Jeremy Monga – England U18 - Lorenz Hutchinson – England U18 U17 - Hugo De Lisle – England U17 --- ✔️ Total Count - 6 senior internationals - 7 youth internationals - = 13 total players away I count the bottom two of Lorenz and Hugo as not realistically being involved in the match day squad unlike the remainder of the list, who play in key areas. Let the bloke have is weekend off with his Mrs,
  11. How do you know? ( I'm not questioning you or looking for an argument, but how have you come to this conclusion. Is this a normal practice?)
  12. I and a lot of others share your frustration here. The current crop of players collectively stink, both in attitude and applicaton on the pitch ( yes a few like JJ, and possibly Skip on occasions could be cut some levels of slack) but publicly lambasting them IMO won't work, and increases the chances of these under performing cry babies spitting dummies out of prams etc. Behind closed doors in private, Rowett has open season with what he can say and do and this is the correct arena to do such things. Likewise if Rowett wants to be critical of the team collectively in post match interviews calling out a performance or the standard "we could be better" doing x,y,z. then I'm fine with that. Most players deep down want to make the match day squad to massage their ego's regardless of their current form, others need exposure for national team selection or to gain a future move. We all know who the under performers and liabilities are, who need and crave match day exposure for various reasons, so, for the good of the team and to give us a fighting chance Rowett should grow a pair, more importantly show some intelligence and desire to change things because what others and he also has done so far just blatantly isn't working, so drop the worst of the under performers and liabilities and really change things up with a number of new faces, starving the culprits of the previously mentioned match day exposure. It's a World Cup year and players are out of contract, so jeopardising moves and national team selections would IMO work better then public shaming these selfish sod's.
  13. I agree. Daka I believe is on 4 league goals this season (Pls someone correct me if I'm wrong here) which is poor. So it's pretty safe to say if we take his current form and also analyse his actual past match time he's not suddenly going to start pulling up tree's overnight and start bagging goals. So I guess my point is, if we can all see it, (and stats back up the fact that he couldn't score in a brothel with £20 in his back pocket,) why did past managers and now currently Rowett not see, accept, work out its not not working (and Ayew is equally guilty as well) and try something different. Its not like we are 5 games in to a new season, we are on sodding 39, so the managers who have all been in the dug-out must all be pretty fvcking thick, or just stubborn ba$tards to not wake up, smell the coffee, and change/adjust something that hasn't worked or improved over near on a whole season. Rowett, just stop being a blind tw@t and bloody play Richards, a home grown talent or a different attacking player out.of position. Just tell Daka and Ayew to stay.at home and watch it on a stream. We have nothing to loose because if Ayew or Daka get another goal each before the end of the season we'd be lucky.
  14. We already have an immobile 8ft brick wall...it's Vestergaard.
  15. Ricky P is done, his mind unfortunately is trying to cash cheques that his body can't cover, which is truly a shame. IMO Hamza is a weapons grade b3ll3nd off and on the pitch, its a travesty he's been made captain I'd like to see Aluko given a chance to see if he's the upgrade for both of them.
  16. Unfortunately the happy clapping KPFC brigade are more than content with the current state of the club and how the tw@t's at the top are 'running it'. In their eyes Top and KP can do no wrong, and they don't see or feel the need to challenge anything or anyone at the club, and are happy to just clap and therefore condone the numerous sh1t performances whilst hiding behind the "just back the team" excuse. Logic dictates this must be the case, or like the many on here campaigning for a positive change they would actually have to admit there is (backed up by well documented facts in the media) a problem and actively do something to change the situation Until our divided fan base are all singing from the same songsheet with the common goal of ousting The Nepo Baby and his KP creche minders we will never get the boycott's or protests mirroring Lazio or even Sheffield.
  17. OK. One swallow doesn't make a summer. Same again (jn both perfirmance, application and hopefully a win) against QPR and I might start to believe a bit more. Yes we were better, but Bristol were poor, and I still think the starting line up with Drink Driver, the Falling Snail, and BdR was dog sh1t, regardless of the result ( which I'll now put my contradictory hat on) which I'm ecstatic about along with the clean sheet. Let's see what the next match brings, oh and I still want King Power well and truly out.!
  18. Oh dear. Sorry Rowett can seriously fvcking one. Choudhury included and CAPTAIN. De Cordova Reid and Ayew starting. Has this bloke learnt nothing?
  19. I know what you mean, but JJ and Mukasa are both on loan so are off in a flash, and I doubt Winks will hang around. But I get the jist of your post my friend, and it scares me to think you could be spot on.
  20. I agree 100% I watched the Don's vs Northampton game on Sunday, and I appreciate it's League One, but Evans 2nd half when moved more central was picked out numerous times by the commentary team and looked exactly that we are missing. Energy, a will to actually get forward, pressing and being a general pest for their defence, he came close a few times, and with better quality behind him (JJ, Mukasa, Winks etc) would have had more and better opportunities to put one away. He was everything both Daka and Ayew even if combined aren’t. What would we have to loose as our current striker options are doing a sterling job...
  21. How many times had Vardy done something similar, invited the contact and gained a Peno. Hamza Is just thick enough to have fallen for it. His playing style and temperament has always been combative and he's always been a walking red card. Just lucky to have gotten away with it...
  22. 100% Peno. Brain dead decision making from the tw@t.
  23. Turn it down then, it's what I do on steams so that I don't get wound up by partisan pundits It bad enough being wound up with the sh1t our lot serve on the pitch
  24. Errrr..? I just don't get it, we've seen multiple managers now come in and pick similar if not the same.teams that go on and do sweet F All in matches. Why is Rowett now falling foul of the same? What's frustrating is that we as fans call for changes to be made to selections before KO and in many cases our alternative selections are vindicated when the player actually sets foot on the pitch and makes the difference we hoped for and actually needed from the 'get go'. If we can see it, and see tangible positive outcomes from our positions as "armchair managers" it beggers the question of 'why the fvcking hell can't the bloke in charge' see it also, expecially after witnessing the better players impact when finally playing, to have a goldfish moment, and revert back to picking the crap again next match. Or is there something in contacts that state someone plays if fit regardless of talent or form. I doubt it if I'm being honest, but it would at least offer an explanation to questionable selections.
  25. From a true management view I agree with your first 2 but RvN in at 3 for me. But worst manager is Rodgers for me, the above 3 were just crap/ incompetent/out of their depth etc. The odious, backstabbing, gucci belt wearing, little troll is just a thoroughly despicable human being, who exhibited all the trates I hate in people in general. Hate is s strong word but I reserve it whole heartedly for that C U Next Tuesday. And breathe........
