Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
Guppys Love Child replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Spot on.. He's been open about wanting to leave, and possibly see's himself in his eyes as to good for the championship. Marti has correctly picked up on this and has had the good since to drop him for the match squad to stop his negatively seeping into the team. I don’t have time for players not wanting to be here or not giving their all to earn the astronomical wages each week. Get a fee for him, his wages off the books and move on. -
He must be nuts to join us

Then Vestergaard can't play. For someone so tall he's rubbish in the air. It wouldn't surprise me if Tyrion Lannister from Game of thrones could out jump him. I appreciate that Nelson's first half performance against Huddersfield was less than Stella, but he is better in the air, in tackling, and has more pace. The lad when switched on can pass too Pains me to say it Faes would be my choice to partner him. The res ov your selection I'd go with as well. Just as long as the "Jogging Donkey" is left at home I'll be happy.

Huddersfield p2-2 LCFC - Full Time
Guppys Love Child replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
The answer to that my friend is - Top the Nepo Baby, allowing Teflon Jon, and we'll.. the board in general really, to continue to run all aspects of the club so incompetentley whist in turn taking no ownership for their mistakes, and refusing to learn from said mistakes, all for say the last 5 or 6 years at least. Until Top sells up and fvcks off and the new owners sack Teflon and 'Sue and the gang' we will continue along the journey of our demise and never get any better. No this is not a knee jerk post due to the result...the vast majority of us think the same, and tonight has just reconfirmed it..... -
I quite like that selecton TBH , except Hamza getting the captains arm band, (drink driving is a pet hate of mine, its irresponsible, dangerous and selfish, not qualities befitting a captain IMO) give it Winks or Nelson.
-
OK. After Okoli's last performance it's obvious that I'm talking total cr@p. We still need to see Nelson in a league game to see if he fares any better, I hope he does. I still stand by my statement of pace is required in our CB's to see any benefit in Cifball so Nelson and Faes it is then. Vesty does possibly have the edge over Nelson in the passing stakes, but Nelson is quicker, can actually jump and head a ball, and is willing to get stuck in a make a tackle...
-
I think for Cifball ( sorry guys) to work it needs both the CB's to have a bit of pace or some semblance of it, so Nelson and Okoli fit the bill there, Vestergaard???? Passing ability, a level of football intelligent, and minimal match day brain farts, and also then chuck in the physicality needed to actually defend. All of this still leads to Nelson and Okoli for me. However....... if im going to be objective for all of the pluses I pointed out above, a pairing of N & O does lack in the experience department, but taking into consideration the league we are in, I'd like to hope with Marti's track record of promoting youth its a gamble he's willing to take. If we compare the pre-season performances of the 4 of them, whilst limited due to one circumstance or another I still lean towards N & O as they both performed better during their pitch time.. But this is LCFC. So Faes and Vesty to start then.....

You make valid points my friend and could be right. But you have described the situation and come up with the 'ideal response' that we as human beings would 'like' to happen (let's say if we were in the situation and not SW, we would like to display a dogged them v us fighting spirit, I get that). But in reality SW are in a real mess, and whilst their situation will galvanise them to a certain degree, as you mentioned above, the physical lack of players, crucially the loss of their better one's, the upheaval of finally losing their manager, (who actually I rate, and feel was the reason they were "punching above their weight ") the lack of a proper, structured, and focused pre-season ( not some behind closed doors kick abouts) and not having the distractions they have had to endure, the match could be a different affair. IMO I think we will witness from SW all the attributes in your post whilst the occasion, their situation and adrenaline pump through their vains. but 20 mins or so later that will start to dwindled and and another 10 min later their physical adversities will start to play a part. I don't think it will be a 5 nil goal fest ( but would welcome that of course) nor a true walk in the park, but I'd be disappointed with a draw. But who knows, you could be spot on and I'm talking BS. -

OK I can get that. The 'Jogging Donkey' has a few wonder training sessions, flatters to deceives, and blags himself a starting position, but surly Marti is intelligent enough to see during the real matches, the same things that we as fans have pointed out and witnessed on numerous occasions, that he's a lazy, uninspiring, charlatan, that goes on the occasional charging run ( when he can actually be bothered) and con's people into thinking he's a footballer. The tw@t is taking up a squad position, wage, and making the match day team, which all could be utilised by.....well anyone else really. I will do cartwheels of joy with my 'Gammy knee' and then suffer the 3 days of pain which whould follow the day he departs our club. I can't stand the bloke. .. -
Totally agree. £15k Bonus if "x" goals scored. Pay rise on promotion or after a year etc. If he bombs then we don't get stuffed too much, Give him a goal, an incentive to "pull's up tree's" if he performs then he earns his extra dosh. We can't get stuff on the wages front anymore

Conor Coady sold to Wrexham - official

You make a valid point, but I guess until we finally kick a ball in anger and get 3 or 4 games into the season we won't know which Harry Winks has turned up..... -

I agree with your list, except for Winks. I have an inkling that under a better manager (hopefully) like Marti that he will eventually come good, and offer us something. Winks is actually not a bad player, unlike the Jogging Donkey Soumare, and there seemed to be a personality clash between him an RvN, if there is no reoccurrence of this with Marti and he starts to enjoy his football an apply him self all will be fine this season with regards to Winks. Add BdCR to the list of dross that need moving on. -
Then we're doomed it tell ya, doomed. I suspect you are on the right lines, anyone who is happy to let our current catalogue of woe's continue must be a bit stupid. Our current situation isn't new, and the 2 relegation"s and yet another PSR charge don't just hint at a problems, but paint the facts in lights. He's just content to sweep it under the carpet.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. Teflon Jon needs canning ASAP we all know that. It's a shame Nepo Baby is to arrogant to question the reasons behind the current problems and challenge them. Then act like a grown up and do something constructive about what he finds
-
I feel your pain my friend, but someone needs to want to buy the players for a start (most of the ones we want shut of are dross,) Also with some on ridiculous wages due to our incompetent DOF's involvement, the chances of other teams picking them up is hindered because players don't want to move for less wages, and are happy to run contracts down. We all know the route cause of most of our problems, but until the Nepo Baby grows a pair and gives Teflon Jon his marching orders things won't get any better.

Except in goal for Wrexham when they play us in their away fixture

Wilfred Ndidi (signed for Besiktas 9m)
Guppys Love Child replied to FrankieADZ's topic in Transfer Talk
Pains me to say it...but I totally agree. I think we have seen the best of Ndidi and £9m whilst not a great fee it's still a fee we can put to use ( pls someone correct me but, wouldn't we have "paid up" his original transfer by now, so this is money that can go into the new accounting period as "vertual profit" or do I have this hideously wrong? ) say for a much needed striker. -
I think you may be on to something there. Also looking at the bench there is plenty of more favourable players too come on, don't be surprised if the team that finishes the match is more like the one we are all wishing for.

Dennis Wise, the largest cock ever in a Leicester Shirt -
After reading the posted comments from the Hammarby fan I thought, oh no Diet-Enzoball incoming to grace our pitches. However once I watched the analysis video I'm actually looking forward to Saturdays game to see if any of the "Cifball" philosophy has rubbed off on the players yet and if so how does it/we actually fair? The video I must say was rather good, and explained clearly Cifuentes idea, and I do think with the current squad at his disposal, including the youth, it is a better team overall than what he had at QPR and we have more suited players that can fit into the hilighted specialist areas, certainly at Championship level, which is a bit more forgiving. Have said that... Regardless of Vestergaards passing ability he's lack of pace will be a major liability, and IMO has no place in Cifball. Take up dog walking my friend. The Jogging Donkey Soumare ..just no IMO he has no place in Cifball as we need all players to have a workmate more than his current dead hamster impersonation. I hope he lives up to his reputation of giving youth its chance as Monga needs to start along with Nelson, whilst Page and Aluko need involvement also.
-
10000% agree.. (Yes a striker is a must.)
-
I hope it's left sided midfielder and anyone to keep the "Jogging Donkey" Soumare out of the side. Depending on any budget I think we need a minimum of 3 spine players. A striker, (priority!) a center mid and a defender. Just to freshen up the squad, add some different competition, but also allow others to leave. But unless we sell some of the rumored outgoings first its all a moot Subject. IMO I think we well start to see the beginigs of any transfer activity next week, after Cifuentes has run his eye over the squad and has a game under his belt. Personally I want the highly overrated rent- a-gob Coady packing his bags for Scotland. The Jogging Donkeys card marked, for just not fitting in to Cifuentes style due to him needed someone with an actual workmate on the pitch. And Ndidi needs to have a blinder so the interest in him doesn't drop. The reported £9m release clause is yet another weapons grade fvck up by the club and even though I think we have seen the best out of Ndidi, its still far to low. I don't want him to go but we desperately need the cash for (or to part fund) a striker, as Daka and Grandad Ayew aren't the answer for next season.

It's like a finger pointing to the moon.... Oi! ... Kingey don't concentrate on the finger or you'll miss Daka scoring. Oh on 2nd thoughts.
