  1. Didn't work...
  2. Probably the worst game Andy Reid has called in his career. The Chiefs didn't even try to establish a running game and were therefore one-dimensional and predictable right from the start. The Eagles defensive line could basically pin their ears back and go after Mahomes without having to worry about defending the run. The Eagles were much better balanced. Barkley wasn't particularly effective running the ball but the Eagles still gave him 25 carries. And simply the threat of him breaking off a big run helped open up the passing lanes for Hurts. The biggest losers last night however were the Bills and the Ravens. Both far better teams than the Chiefs this season. A great opportunity missed by both.
  3. How could you forget their glorious Intertoto Cup triumph of 2006? Here is Scott Parker proudly displaying the certificate they got, which looks something akin to the Cycling Proficiency certificate I got when I was 10.
  4. I think there was also the probability that Wolves saw how much we were paying him and said, "Nah, you're alright."
  5. Kermorgant was decent and saved us from a potentially historically bad PL campaign with his failed Panenka.
  6. I think, as with most people, you just need to keep him away from the booze and he's fine.
  7. Shinji's stats are appalling though. I guess he's one of those anomalies, much like Heskey, where his value can't be summed up by raw numbers.
  8. Kramaric would have scored more goals for us than Vardy if he had stayed.
  9. Rodgers would have turned it around and avoided relegation if not sacked in 22/23.
  10. We never should have sold Max Gradel to Dirty Leeds.
  11. The best thing about the shipping forecast was that it was welcome respite from having to listen to England's latest batting collapse in the cricket. You would come back to find they had lost another couple of wickets somewhere between Viking and Faeroes.
  12. Not since TV-am days.
  13. Rudkin tomorrow to Big Dan Amartey
  14. They are very common. Both Fatawu and Akgun were criteria driven obligations last season. Fatawu's was triggered (promotion), Akgun's wasn't (appearances).
  15. It probably wouldn't make any difference as we are beyond terrible, but I'm astonished that we haven't gambled on at least one overseas loan. Just one. Because as bad as we are we're still only one win from being outside the relegation zone.
  16. The end was probably the 2021 summer window. It was the first summer window in a while where we didn't sell a player for big money. Bought Daka and Soumare for £45m combined. Brought in Bertrand on big wages. Fofana then got snapped in half by that Villareal meathead so we had to panic buy Vestergaard for £15m. From then on we were always struggling with PSR.
  17. Nobody needed to say it. You could see it. He was volleying water bottles around the technical area in a rage.
  18. Unfortunately they lost in the next round to Laboratoire Garnier.
  19. "Jan, please meet Jannik. I believe you've worked together before."
  20. Bailey was going to Man U last I heard.
  21. Exactly. And the obligation is probably dependant upon them getting promotion. If they don't we're not really gaining anything from the deal.
  22. Now a holding midfielder for Moreirense in Portuguese Liga.
  23. Rudkin's been using the Blankety Blank Chequebook & Pen again.
