I'm all for loyalty amongst fans. But the club has to meet us halfway. By continuing to go at the moment all we are doing is enabling the current set-up, particularly at board level, to think that everything is just fine and that they can carry on taking the piss out of their own fan base.

Which is precisely what appeals to these fans. It's a chance to get out of the house and have natter with the like-minded fans around you. What goes on on the pitch is barely relevant to them.

I disagree. Those fans will still go no matter how incompetent the club becomes or how far we fall. If Top came round to their house and took a dump on their living room rug they'd give him a round of applause.

I see this thread has gone in an entirely predictable and intended direction.

But probably no better. There were more misses than hits under Maresca. Coady, Cannon, Akgun and Casedei were all either peripheral figures or non-factors. He also wanted Sensi, who is pretty much Serie A's equivalent of BDCR and Ayew. Mads, Fatawu and Winks were all hits. But Enzo gave Glover all the credit for finding Fatawu, and Winks has been proven to be completely washed at PL level.

So the players are revolting? I wouldn't disagree with that.

They are actually in 7th place, but yes, he has turned their season around brilliantly.
