  1. Hull do have very direct wingers, probably best to have JJ and Hamza there.
  2. Well yes, but my point was you have clubs at all ends of the league. An elite club, 2 clubs pushing for European football, Wolves who are a solid mid table, 2 clubs fighting relegation and 2 who will potentially be back in the league next year.
  3. If we now assume all these have failed, and all get promoted, then that's 8 teams at risk of being on negative points. You also have a complete scattering of club size as well; not just small or giants
  4. But it is a touch depressing that the main drama about F1 is off the track issues rather than anything related to racing.
  5. Daka to start Vardy and Ndidi on at 60
  6. Today is one where they need to leave everything out there. 8 days till a qf and then internationals.
  7. Football is becoming a real reflection of general life. Those few who have all the money and spending on whatever they want. Everyone else scrapping by, counting pennies at every turn
  8. Assume "big" is for the headline. You'd think it'd be -10 at tops, probably mitigated in an appeal to -6 as Everton have shown.
  9. Article summarises nothing new. I will argue that should we have stayed in the Prem we could have lost £105m rather than the £83m for our current situation. Interested to know if we'd have been fine if that had happened
  10. In all honesty everyone is looking at the exact same information. No one knows anything, they can predict things and suggest how it will play out but until the accounts are actually released and the Prem released a verdict, everything is conjecture.
  11. After years of floating around nowhere, they've got a good squad, owner in sync with manager and are developing well. I can see why they're enjoying football
  12. Exactly, I know it can't be simple due to the complexities of finance and how things are hidden etc. But this level, as you say, where even when found guilty it's still a minefield.
  13. Every Eddie Howe interview about it has implied he'll probably be signing. Lawyers can't delay the FFP charges due to the laws the club's passed. Man City has 115 charges not solely relating to FFP and significantly more complex than "have team x lost too much". The issues are not comparable.
  14. Hugely. Mentioned the other day that there seems to be confusion between clubs and leagues about these rules. Then the version of the rules used, what's applicable etc Lawyers should be having a field day at all these loopholes
  15. Newcastle are signing Hall Spurs bid/were very interested in Gallagher Lukaku has Italian clubs chasing after him every summer I can see Fulham or another mid prem side bidding for Broja
  16. On Chelsea, they're selling Lewis hall to Newcastle for £30m, Gallagher will go for £40m, Broja is on the way out for between £30-50m that's before you think of the likes of Lukaku and the other swarm of loans they have.
  17. Brighton have issues with Roma etc and their chief exec is already on the radio doing interviews about the events and the season in general. Last we heard was top telling us we were in the wrong
  18. Another huge uproar about British fans being attacked etc abroad. Happens yearly and nothing ever gets done
  19. If they had any balls there'd be a separate part of the presser for those questions.
  20. Really good point. They can't be lenient to any single team without facing 10/11 sets of lawyers
  21. Backs against the wall, people wanting us to fail? Not a better time for everyone to actually pull together
  22. Leeds and Saints must be in similar situations.
  23. I don't imagine the execs talk to each other about financial intricacies from the looks of it
