£7m So £11m profit in initial purchase, looking at £13m+ for PSR
-
Agree, but at the same time this is exactly the sort of gamble we should be taking. If he doesn't do great, we'll probably still be able to recoup good amount of the fee and won't be on stupid wages
-
Really feel for Bournemouth, they're entire back 5 from last season aren't at the club anymore. Also hate TNT then celebrating the fact.
-
Makes too much sense for it to be us
-
There's definitely a niche journalist out there looking into the number of front companies used by sides. Man City were accused of it etc
-
He was great in that LCB/LB role tucking in, when we had a back 3. Probably too slow for an attacking fullback
-
As with so many big companies, it fully depends who the person on the other end of the phone/email is as to the help you get.

Isn't their type of signing. Why spend £25/£30m on an unproven, exciting talent when they can £5/£10m on just as an exciting prospect from South America, Scandinavia or Japan -
Multimillionaire angry his actions have consequences

We've changed coach so much the scouting is always a year behind. We had Italian links and buys after Enzo left, and now just generic links to old players following Cooper and RvN

Smells like continued BS to me -
£5/6m over 5 years, been here 2, so up at £17/18m profit for PSR with book value etc?
-
Maybe the Ndidi and Coady deals mean we can take a small hit with the amount we'd want for Mads

But there's a big gulf between spurs bench and Leeds 11/bench -
€9.5m and then best part of £3m saved on wages straight away.

Let's not compare the lad to Vardy. Majority of strikers in world football didn't compare well with him.
-
Important to note Birmingham paid £15m + for Stansfield, 1 goal more in 4 games less in a side that walked the division.
-
Other side of the story is funny isn't it. Was made to seem we were being unreasonable with making him travel abroad. Turns out we just wanted a nominal fee to release him

It looks like he almost goes blank when he gets into the box. -
Release clause has helped us out here, a player we'd be happy to let go and a reasonable fee coming our way.
-
Side point, whoever's idea it was to add the latest update transfer wise to the title, really appreciating to know what's happening quickly.
-
They weren't a CL club, so the clause didn't apply to them.
-
Makes sense, why leave a club where you're number 1 to then go and fight to potentially be a number 1?
-
Wonder if our good mate Odsonne is available

He'll be screenshotting his thread and showing it around to everyone and anyone. "Look mum, I've made it"
