I think the issue is that you could have put in plenty of hard yards over the last 7 years, but because you didn't have a season ticket for three counting years, you will not be able to get out of the all season ticket category. Its a valid complaint.

All you would need is to have the value of points lose value on a sliding scale over time. So if you had a 10 year limit, you could have the value of points earned in a given season lose a tenth of value each year. So the last season ticket would be worth 5 points and 10 away games that season would be worth 1 point. So you would still be getting something for longevity but it wouldn't be so disproportionate. This is just an example. Length of time and percentages etc can be agreed....

Do people feel they can't really go too hard on the manager or the players (because we are top of the league and had a record breaking start to the season) so have to use other fans as an outlet for their negativity?

So many people say Rodgers was the problem, but then blame the players like it wasn't the managers fault. I think people partly stayed behind as they knew there were a load of players they would never watch again playing for leicester.... and it was the end of the season.

It would get a little complicated, but I would have both season ticket and game points losing value on a sliding scale each year. You could have points losing a tenth of their value every year until they are knocked off, for example. So going to 10 away games 10 seasons ago, would be the equivalent to going to 1 game this season. It still respects loyalty, but on a diminishing scale. One of the difficulties is trying to go with your kids. They probably end up in different bands etc then it's hard to plan going to games if one misses out on a ticket. I think it's a bit mean that my son has a lower points because he doesn't have points from a season he was too young to go to! I addressed this be dragging him to just about every away game I could... so aged 12, he has 624 points, Which must be good going!

How many away games have you missed in the last 11 years?? Must be a tiny amount!
