  1. Wow, can you imagine the stench of digestives, lukewarm pg tips and rice pudding I jest. Cruises sound interesting and it would be a good experience to do one
  2. Bloody hell they get 3k people on these cruises?!?! Assume you’re on a cruise and not a pirate death cult or similar
  3. Leeds have hit form against terrible opposition, ie other teams in the championship. No need to worry, if we play like we can be bothered we’ll win 2/3-0
  4. Search on iptv ifollow channels. edit. The channel has gone down now
  5. Lol the foxes hub coverage is so behind. Switched to qpr coverage and it’s bad but not as bad
  6. Texas (Austin, Houston, San Antonio) was a lot of fun. Everything is HUGE and plastic, people are very friendly and every food you can imagine is available here. Quite unnerving seeing so many people in bars carrying guns after a good few drinks. Going to South France for a two days for a wedding in a few weeks. After the food, fun, sights, smells, sounds, scenery and all round FUN of Mexico City and Texas, it's going to be a helluva comedown going to some French dump with uninspiring scenery, tasteless food and bland people
  7. Dunno about the ‘I’m a better fan’ vibe. I read it as people who have ideas and/or already are making a difference, trying to spread that message whilst also being open to other ideas. Not saying you are doing this, but people need to stop being so precious on this thread. The whole ‘people can do what they want it’s nothing to do with you’ comments are odd. If you’re that sensitive about leaving early and not making noise, don’t leave early and make noise
  8. I have zero interest in nba but when in the USA like to go to their sports. Saw the Houston rockets on Friday which was ok. Went to opening night at San Antonio tonight, the debut of their new super singing victor Wemby who is HUGE. Really enjoyed it, the game was so tight and Dallas just snatched it. Drama until the end! All the trash around the game (fan cam, dance off sponsored by titos, bucket challenge with mirror capital etc) is horrible. I got two free t shirts via the t shirt cannon which I will be hoping to sell!
  9. Without doubt, you’d be happy with finishing second in this rabble of a league? We have an all star team who are playing a different sport to the Tesco value opposition. Yet you think people are ‘daft’ for accepting a number of defeats…. It’s competitive sport, not a McDonald’s birthday party.
  10. No chance in hell, why? We are clearly the best team in this division by a mile. I wouldn’t accept anything less than winning every match
  11. From what I've heard the PUNCH and judy was very aptly named for the London 'firms' looking to get at visiting teams!
  12. People are free to do what they want, and consequently people are free to comment as they want, as what people do what they want. Why isn’t this idea landing with you
  13. I’m in the states now and have been to a couple of nba matches, the kp is certainly a long way from American sanitisation. I have also been to blundell park 37 times in the last 15 years (mate is a mariner) and it is a long long way from the earthy experience you are describing. Unsurprisingly, this is an exaggerated post
  14. That's exactly what I did! Group of mates from uni and we have now all moved out of London, CDMX was a new place for all of us. The partying is high level, good clubs good cocktails, tequilla etc. Absolutely tons of activities and sightseeing during the day.
  15. LOL you’re presenting a passport with the wrong DOB (!!) on it. Undoubtedly it’ll be ‘thanks Barclays’ when Joe doe struts in with a Armenian passport and dob 32/15/2045 on it and manages to empty the account
  16. Wow, heard Leclerc and Hamilton disqualified. Just seen Sainz going into his hotel, no wonder he looked happy!
  17. Wife. She does not like sports at all but f1 is nothing to do with sport. It's glitz and glam, partying and 'lifestyle.' Austin was electric last night. I have seen scores of people on their own at races, I am not brave or mature enough to do that. Don't be as spineless as me though, go and get involved, you will love it.
  18. Generous for a supermarket to let you use their car park for free for 1.5 hours whilst not even using the supermarket, don't think i've ever heard of that. Even then, you've not missed the cut off by a little bit, you've missed it by 20%!!! What do you expect!! Anyway, there's zero point screaming and swearing about it on a football forum, go through the process and appeal if you think you've been done. And if you win the appeal, tell us how you did it. #humanity #fighttogether
  19. Yes, a bit. Hired a driver for a few days, ask your hotel for contacts and negotiate. Outside of Tirana there aren’t many options for public transport
  20. Oh I totally agree with you and the principle. But unfortunately we’ve created a weak and spineless society where we accept what we’re given. I have made my peace with that and therefore hope not to return to live in the uk for a while. Getting onto an existential point now though!!
  21. Awesome. You will love it. The metro is the easiest and cheapest way to get around. Street food is amazing. Tequila and mezcal obvs incredible. The culture and vibe is just cool, fun and friendly, people just wanna have fun. Report back wen you return!
  22. Point taken, but I’m not sure! If the stadium expands and they can’t fill the seats then yeh fair, but nothing suggests they won’t. What’s the biggest threat to city? STH always sell out. You’ll have a few spineless motormouths on here claiming they’re not renewing but of course they renew. The £31 won’t make a difference overall but it’s someone’s revenue centre, bonus, salary metric etc. You can’t leave money on the table and you must build the next generation of customers believing they HAVE TO buy a membership to get tickets, much like our generation got conned into sky ruling the game and did nothing about it
  23. Didn’t explain myself well. I mean, they pretty much sell out every week right now, I think? So why would they scrap memberships and all the additional revenue it creates. I’m an STH and I’ve been to one home game this season, but the club doesn’t know I’m not there every week so they aren’t selling my seat to Karen. If you don’t like the business model, play it. There’s no need to be a member if you’re a part time fan, find an STH and buy a guest ticket. Walk up is irrelevant as we’re pretty much full every week. But I wonder what the trust thinks of memberships..??
  24. I don’t agree with memberships but it’s naive to think a business will leave money on the table. I read some comments on here and I wonder what world people live in. Why are memberships a pile of dung when it’s a constant, predictable low risk source of revenue? What should they do? Scrap memberships and….erm… still sell out every other week…. Madness. Your sister and her maybe £20 every few months mean nothing to the business, why should it. Low margin customer in a monopoly market, ignore
  25. Ps I’m not saying it’s a good business, but it’s a business. The logic being you extract as much value from your customers as possible. People need to make that distinction and stop thinking lcfc is some kind of commune which we all belong to
