The two images are not contemporarily related even if both are utterly shocking and inexcusable. The wages one underpins our entire fall in my opinion. Lack of any smarts in the market meant we are picking up the scraps and paying for the privilege. The crap we are left with are to stupid or indifferent to make the required effort, hence image two.
