  1. I don’t think that’s true tbh, as Daka and Vardy are hypothetically similar, but Nacho and Cannon are different than them both and each other. It’s more we don’t try to use our strikers differently I would suggest.
  2. Would take some mental gymnastics to pin the drop in our points lead on Nelson to be honest
  3. People suggesting he could cross them low, but don’t recall seeing Marc do that many times.
  4. Form is unsurprisingly a far better indication than the table, explains QPRs momentum coming into yesterday, if not our own feckless malaise
  5. Wonder if any other (want to be) top level club has DoF with such a divisive job scope? Would far rather have a purely football focused role.
  6. Yes it’s true of course, but we were a perpetual underdog so nobody was remotely considering parking the bus against us, but you know this I am sure. Possession has two purposes in my limited mind, 1) to pass to get towards goal or 2) to retain it to prevent goals. If the second reason occurs without the first, it gets frustrating and pointless.
  7. This is just lashing out reactive rhetoric, but to respond From a point of extreme negativity after relegation, the mood has changed hugely We clearly have results as after 36 games we are still top, but recent form is poor No, this does not make me a happy clapper, as we are in a tough spot now and Enzo needs to adapt or inspire and quickly to recent results We may have fluked some games, but we have also been unlucky in others All this best talk is totally subjective, I am sure Leeds say the same, maybe Saints, maybe others too Who is saying we will be fine? Maybe some, but few are under any illusions that recently we have looked sub standard This divisive happy clapper vs negative realists bullshit is part of the problem, just support and stop expecting He is a good coach, still starting out so hardly likely to be the real deal, but more importantly than all that, he is our coach so get behind as we would the players.
  8. Leeds are not good against team who setup not to lose, so the whole ‘easiest run in’ is rubbish.
  9. Agree with Jannik out starting Doyle might have been prudent
  10. I get the frustration, we have certainly looked toothless of late, but isn’t that more of a wingers being rubbish rather than a striker issue? If we had two strikers, would we keep two wingers? If we did, we would need to drop a midfielder, which is also a potential for disaster. But who knows.
  11. It was in part rhetorical, but I was also genuinely curious to hear the reasons (should they unexpectedly exist)
  12. I am assuming Coady was always penned in for Tuesday, or at least I hope that is the case.
  13. @Col city fan being quite so zen is somehow discomfiting rather than reassuring.
  14. Brothers can be virgins too. Just saying___
  15. If you are happy to besmirch the good name of regional virgins then do not let me stop you.
  16. Let’s also not make this just as us thing, Leeds today did not deserve a draw, they had an opponent sent off and they laboured to a draw. The “top two” both shat the bed this weekend. Ipswich, fair play, you have clearly sacrificed a large number of Suffolk virgins for the cause, but my word, your results are impressive.
  17. Then we have to try something else, there were signs today it is on the cards, but we will see over the next few games.
  18. We are well drilled in our movements, with the intents in our play, but today QPR we’re just as well drilled in when to press, who to press and where to close passing lanes, wilfully surrendering space where they felt no serious threat would exist. We were blunt, safe and predictable but this was exacerbated by how well setup QPR were.
  19. Such a strange thing, Vesty was the one we miss the most. Bonkers really. He just exerts a level of calm on our game.
  20. Has he been banned? Is this why you are posting by proxy? Do not agree with some of this by the way, as with 10 games or so to go, it is exactly relegation threatened teams you lose against, as they are so fighting hard.
  21. Yeah but what does he do with it? I am not slagging him off, he is great, but it cannot be acceptable to be so one dimensional as it destroyed lots of attacks today.
  22. I would be putting him on the bench next game, that crap cannot be tolerated (despite his clear high ceiling) he broke a few attacks today with trying it again.
  23. Coady for Nelson (or Faes) Nacho for Fatawu Albrighton for Mavididi
  24. Not hard to see why QPRs form is so good, they left it all out there, fair play.
