  1. Good job Stephy, fair play.
  2. Get him off, get Monga on
  3. Aluko needs to come in for Ricky
  4. Was actually a good pass too. Good job I was sat down.
  5. We seem terrified, great.
  6. Molumby being a muppet
  7. Charlton having fun
  8. They don't win longer term I agree, but it is frustrating that such people are protected by The Prisoners Dilemma made policy.
  9. Full agree. Any outcome for the US here is a domestic win as he gets to reduce defence spending in the area, either by ending another war (This guy should get an award or something..) and cutting foreign spending, not that domestic Joe's will benefit. Or alternatively playing the 'well we tried' card, blame Ukraine and Europe and then cut spending.
  10. They are not stupid, they are impotent. The return of 'might is right' has returned and Trump is only too happy to remove the mask.
  11. Because politics of all stripes has become the domain of the self interested and not those interested in service and the greater good. Recommendation is don't hold your breath for better.
  12. Vestergaard. He is a currently a poor defender on account of him being slow, lacking in decent awareness and is surprisingly quite weak. He is, or at least was, useful from the point of view of distribution in the system Enzo created. However. He is now older, as are most of his team mates, he is in a weaker side playing against better opposition. We don't have an extra body at the back in Mads anymore. He needs replacing, if it can't be Ben, then we need someone to urgently break through or get a replacement (loan or purchase) as I assume there will be further clearance at CB during the winter window.
  13. its a concept, it will be watered down, but surely better to start with something innovative? Regardless of its aesthetic appeal to some.
  14. I think yes, check a trade is a start point or a directory, but you have to go with your gut to some degree on meeting them. Also, different people have different expectations. Job sourced: Large extension overhaul + new kitchen + downstairs bathroom add Was acting as main contractors, lots of trades involved Chimney sweep - repeat business Garden office built Fitting extra radiators in a roof room Removing broken driveway and reworking Tree feeling Would be lost without them tbh
  15. Check a trade works for me. If they are bad, people see it and they lose business, but if they are good people see it, and they get business. Simple.
  16. Think it would depend who the likely replacement was. If it was someone likely to inspire (or terrorise) the squad, then pull the trigger, but if its more of the same, then wait. Might we also want to wait for out football guru Technical Director is in the house anyway?
  17. I think it's because we were ahead of those teams, in as much as we did it first, so they got to see our mistakes and this coupled with the fact that we utterly failed to adapt our 'sell 1 asset a season' approach when that market evaporated or slowed. We should have accepted some lower valuations and restricted signings to more value markets like South America or Eastern Europe.
  18. Think that would be insanity. If you are about to employ someone who is (or at least should be) closely involved with the managerial position, be a bit weird to tie their hands before they even walk through the door.
  19. Fair enough, in my eyes we always will be of course. On the second point, yes this is Top's chance to draw the fans toward him or push them further away. Recent decisions are not a cause for optimism, but we have to hope he has seen the light.
  20. They are in the Premier League. This about where a contemporary coach/staff member would prefer to go.
  21. Of course, you also keep saying history which kind of proves the whole point.
  22. And people get bollocked for quoting our success when we are struggling, but will then use it Shades of grey. Our success is historic, theirs is less but it is contemporary. You cannot on one hand bitch at the club for its pure awfulness and then on the other act like we are fantastic, well you can, but you know.....
  23. You are incorrect, but acting like we are Barcelona does not make it so. Why are we like that?
  24. It is all piss and wind, they may as well
