  1. Christ we are so slow to get forward
  2. Centre Backs look like a problem position if we assume Coady goes and Nelson feels as reliable as Ricky. Not as much as Striker though…
  3. Yeah but that 5% he is just prime Yaya.
  4. Sensible. Don't want another Fofana even before he gets there do we?
  5. You will take your medicine. Agree though, not ideal and disappointing that Nelson is injured or already judged to be crack.
  6. As I say, it's all about opinions.
  7. But that's just fond memories and not realistic unfortunately. Our greatest ever player would be tarred by his cost, one the club cannot afford, and by the grim reality of his output at this time. But it's all about opinions.
  8. Yes of course, and we as much as any know what that dream actually feels like. Maybe I am just getting older, but now is not the time for such dreams, after such consistent mismanagement, now is the time for prudence and building the foundations (for the next dream)
  9. This would be my concern, same would go for Pearson. Incomparable both, let’s not make bad memories at the close.
  10. Lofe how people moan about our finances but are quite happy to proliferate the problem for something that would give no future reward
  11. He was poor, so we’re lots, the whole defensive unit was cack. His wages would suggest he is best gone I imagine.
  12. Not too keen on the mindset tbh, it’s a change or bust atttitude. We cannot be making wholesale changes every time we replace the manager, it’s not feasible, especially right now. We have lots of players, any manager should be checking what we have, how they relate to his preferred way of playing, and tweaking the players/systems as much as possible, before he gets the Argos catalogue out imo.
  13. He may not, but the question is deserving of it for sure.
  14. Drinking red bull at all probably warrants government intervention anyway tbh...
  15. As you note, high caffeinated drinks are liable to restriction by retailers presumably for their own protection. This is not a Governmental thing, so not sure how its relevant tbh Booo! Boo! Down with Tesco Express?
  16. Ka jro talòh keu nyoe
  17. Pretty sure my 2nd in Klingon Studies at Coventry University made me the man I am today.
  18. Yes, I think being away at university can help garner some independence and self reliance, but even then you are funded either via loans, grants via parental provision, so supporting yourself fully never really hits home until you work I think.
  19. That’s not me by the way, but the percentage of wage is obviously key, but I am quite sure you are taking the Michael with this.
  20. Yes, amongst other things like lower wages, less jobs, higher prices, it is fairly toxic combo for the young.
  21. And ask yourself why is that?
  22. Was discussing this over the weekend with my 80 year old parents, was it right to want or need to work so much? I understand the point, as in their time, and mine to be fair, the reasons were apparent, the rewards tangible. Also work breeds responsibility and a routine and this is good thing in my mind. However, when the opportunities are not as evident and the rewards remain out of conceivable reach - why would you feel the desire to work so hard?
  23. The demographic is getting more weighted at the top end, it can only be good thing imo, if for nothing else than increased engagement.
