We went down losing twice in my opinion to the worst two teams in the league namely Bournemouth and Southampton and playing Ward for too long .We also had no shock wins probablly first time ever in the top division Another 15 points would have seen us in the position most expected

Wonder what the record is for 2 points using the yardstick of adding 50 per cent However as with many oldies consider the standard was far higher promoted teams done far better and were never favourites to come down

In my opinion the defeats against arguablly the 2 worst teams in the league and vfailure to beat Everton at home sent us down 2 wins against Everton Bournemouth and Southampton would have been an extra 15 points which would have been a 48 point tally hardly world beating and no surprise wins which in 9 seasons out of 10 in the Premier we always hadto overacieve

People are oftenleaving before they know how much extra time if going say 5 minutes early and 10 minutes extra they miss 15 mins and with Leicesters record of scoring late why bother to come at all

I fully agree when I see championship highlights teams seem to play completely different against us and if honest although we are very proficient ipswich games are more exciting although if a team who have just come up and didnt even win div 1 can almost equal Leicesters amazing start it does not say much for the standard further reinforced by the performances of the 3 promoted teams one who only lost 3 and gained 103 points

You could say Rodgers only had one bad season Celtic in Scotland I would suggest are similar to us in the Championship and they in my opinion wont be much difference at the end of the season although they are in Europe as well

Frankly we have struggled at home and could have lost 3 and drawn one Teams at home are almost obliged to attack and frankly have made it much easier for us to win away but as every visitor is playing the same I think home matches will cease to be a problem i would point out that the standard of the league is somewhat suspect with the 3 promoted teams doing so badly although Burnley will probabllly confound the critics and although early a team who didnt even win DIV 1 are only 2 points behind us but nobody is saying they are too good for the division

Would be more confident if away as we have been far from impressive at home and could have lost 3 and drew 1

if we are that much better than Burnley record number of points indicated and when was the last time all 3 promoted sides were relegated

Agree the old cliche that the championship is a hard league to get out of is continually trotted out just look at at least 2 of the teams promoted and in 9 times out of ten at least 2 of the relegated teams are in the running for promotion

First team one of the best in the world however it was also Leicesters second string although most of Leicesters will undoubtedly get more game time than Liverpools

Why are we different from Ipswich and its very pessimistic to say we will be hammered by Liverpool reserves

liverpool will be nowhere near full strength so I dont know if it will be a true test or sustained pressure Team fielded likely to be about same as Wolves who Ipswich gave 2 goal start and still won

agreed Burnley only lost 3 matches all season so to say we must expect to lose matches is a bit defeatist. However a bit early to write Burnley off
