I am a real golden oldie and I think this ranks as the worst top flight since McLintock was manager I dont recall such anger when relegated to Div 2 under Holloway who least had the decency to apologise

I can never understand how high the championship is rated with expereienced managers saying how difficult it is when virually every year at least 2 of the relegated sides are in the top 6 and sides from div 1 promoted do no where as badly as sides going into the Premier

perversely it showed him right it certainly showed a cameo however good against the worst side in the league however good does not make you a star and of the starters the 2 called for by me as well as most fans were arguablly the worst 2 players and the 2 wingers neednt have been there neither getting a shot on target or beating a man

W e won the league but lost nearly 25 per cent of matches hardly every week and there were draws also P

I do not think comments on here reflect opinion of the fan base at large . We have been in every game and although it would take a great deal of imagination could be unbeaten Finnegan omits to say only 3 teams have scored in every league game todate there must be 17 defensive others. 1 agree we tend to only play reasonablly well one half but you can say the glass is half full or half empty Many teams are guilty of this Spurs being typical Like many I was not enamoured by last year and should have appreciated it more but look at the plaudits Chelsea are getting. The best answer to the critics on here are the first 8 games of Martin ONEILL I wonder how many are the same. I can go back too far for comfort and apart from Matt Gillies and Jock Wallace and Frank OFarrell cant recall any others who didnt receive fierce crtiticism
