Just accept the deduction. The arrogance of this club is staggering. For an owner of a football club who still doesn’t understand psr the best thing to do is move on from it.

He’s not a bad manager but he’s average at best. Once again it’s the he’ll do appointment because he’s got experience in the championship. We don’t think outside the box or even attempt to. I know we’re a mess but look who Middlesbrough, Norwich, Bristol City and Swansea have appointed this season. Would we have even looked at any of those names at those clubs now in the summer? Of course not.

My worry is he’ll be another Cooper and rely on the experienced players.

A lot said the same about Cifuentes. Hope he does well but I’m not convinced with him.

So who did they really want? Clearly Rowett wasn’t first choice. I’d question whether he was even second or third choice.

Is it? I’m less than convinced. Not good enough for Oxford this season but good enough supposedly for us. Time will tell but imo it’s scrapping the barrel. It’s where we are now.

Is he available to play Saturday?

Even in our predicament the best we can get is Gary Rowett. Depressing doesn’t do it justice. King Power out.

It’s what we have done before when we’re close to an appointment. Put a foreign manager in the rumour mill before appointing Rowett. Exactly what we’re doing with Thelin. We did it before appointing Cifuentes, RVN and Cooper. Bo Svensson and Niko Kovac were mentioned in recent years. Absolute joke of a club. They have no intention of hiring these foreign managers it just makes it look like we’ve looked abroad.

Same thing happened with Cooper and Cifuentes. Both came in from nowhere when it was expected to be Potter and Rohl.

Genuinely dread to think who we end up with if Rowett turns us down.

Let’s not forget that it was more or less a done deal with Potter before Cooper got it and Rohl was favourite for a long while before Cifuentes got it. There’s still time for us to end up with someone else. Chances are that it’ll be someone worse than Rowett though.

So Lucy Pinder won’t be coming to watch us??

If we had the chance to have Pearson back I’d take that in a heartbeat. Definitely have him over Rowett. Actually can’t think of anyone else I’d rather have over Pearson especially in the mess we are in.

Glad we looked far and wide for a replacement and not just ended up with an English version of Cifuentes…… Clueless club.

Imagine if he turns us down. 😂
