There must be something in Ayew’s contract about him having to play so many mins. Ability wise there’s nothing he offers.

As I stated previously he has to change the system when making subs. He’s not the only one who does this but nothing will change if you take Ayew off and bring Daka on or if you take Mavididi off and bring Monga on. Not that I’m suggesting I want to see Ayew play but there has to be a different approach during the game. Play 2 up front or do something the opposition isn’t expecting. I know the options available to us are shit but constantly expecting a different outcome with the same system that hasn’t worked for 60 mins is stupid.

Any manager coming into us in the mess we are in are going to go with experienced players even though majority of them are shit. They are not going to risk younger players with where we are currently. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we should have built a side around the younger players at the start of the season. Will be interesting to see if and it’s a big if we stop up and he remains which direction he goes with. His track record suggests it’ll be experience instead of youth. I would rather we go with youth whatever division we are in next season.
