Henry Winter from the top rope

We have alot of players who are doing a three game week for the first time in their careers..... You could of rested them? You had options? You are literally the manager that is in charge of recognising this might be an issue and doing something about it. Such a Brendan rogers move to point out what was wrong in a way that says "who could of known that would be a problem" You...that is literally your job.

Im always amazed at Martin, he speaks like a human, and someone who is aware of the human side of being in football. But at what point do you go "its happening again....maybe its me?"

This is where the problem is, nothing changes until they are gone. Hurry up and sell please, if you ever genuinely cared for the club you will just sell and take Rudkin with you. Whats the point in sacking Martin while these lot are still making decisions.

I know almost none of us wanted Martin because of this very reason. Its tough to understand how you come back from this though, its an extremely worrying result, given his reputation in the game, things needed to stay on a positive trajectory. But hes just sunk us to our lowest ever point, good teams, well run and organised teams lose games, it happens, they do not get battered 4-0 at home to teams who had a transfer ban in a league they have double the budget of any other club. And unfortunately for Martin we've seen this play out at Southampton and Rangers. Im trying not to be over the top as I get its just one game, but we've all watched enough football to know these are the results that say you are bang in trouble.

Exactly....I think you might of misunderstood

Be careful what you wish for!

Hes not going anywhere, how long did we keep Rodgers and Marti for? Strap in for the ride, life under King Power just keeps giving. Being careful what I wish for though

Imagine who they pick next. Nothing changes until we are sold 🤷‍♂️

Aluko then? Either way Macfarlane has been poor and looks leggy, like he did at the end against Plymouth. Need some fresh energy from somewhere

Triple sub at half time OHora for Mcfarlane. Switch thomas to the left. Howell for burns. Doyle for BDR.

Looking leggy like we ended the game against Plymouth. Need some energy from somewhere

Im surprised at the BDR reaction, not that he deserves his place on form, but Chaplin is injured, Cullen cant get in the squad, Lundstrum isnt fit to push Page higher, and Doyle has only been here for a couple of days and is short of match practice? I guess he could of switched Howell in? Not sure if hes played centrally much. Just seemed nailed on he was starting due to squad circumstances.

Cant really grumble too much, knew bobby would start with Chaplin out. Lundstrum isnt fit yet. Interesting Cullen didn't even make the bench.... Hopefully Burns finds some form

From RMs conference today it would suggest it might be too early for Lundstrum and Doyle match fitness wise, but Ohora and Riis have a chance. Mccarthy JJ Souttar OHora Thomas Page Braybrooke BDR Burns Riis Alves Would be my guess if thats the case. Nice to have some options at least.

Love that, not a bland media trained answer.

I would describe it more as resting is all its alot of football in a short space, not a question on his performance at all

He barged in to Stol and unfortunately Stols leg was planted and he twisted it. It was unnecessary to barge into him, but certainly not awful, just a bit of a freak one

I would imagine a bit of rotation likely dictated by how quickly the new signings get up to speed. I can see something like this if the new guys train well and it gives a couple of the young guys a rest as they were definitely a bit leggy towards the end of the game and its a long season ahead. McCarthy JJ Souttar O'Hora Thomas Braybrooke Lundstram Alves BDR Burns Riis

Well I was talking about the entire window as a whole...

We are really going for it, it seems! The amount of player transactions in both directions this summer and just over the last couple of days tells you how much Rudkin held us back. Cant be a coincidence we finally get a DOF in and all of a sudden we are able to do this. Whether they are all good players is a different question!

I think his analysis tonight was fair, he was pleased but frustrated with the last 30 minutes, and I think it was fair to say some of them were tired. Interesting he said that the club told him they were going to send Will Alves out on loan again and he decided after a week of watching him he wanted him in the squad. His issue has always been the style of football, he seems like a grounded normal guy, players want to play for him, but his style is easy to navigate, look at the first 30 minutes or so tonight, Plymouth were crap and they just set traps waiting for us to mess up. 2nd half at least we went long more frequently. I am not a Russell Martin guy, but I have found the constant negativity towards everything he does from some quite tiresome and its making me want him to prove us all wrong as hes clearly making some positive changes.

Ravazzoli Thomas Aluko Watson Bristric Burns Chaplin On the bench aswell. Plus Okoli, BDR, Cullen, Kanga

Yesssssssssssssssssssss Skipp and Faes to go and then its probably as good as it could get
