  1. Much like the Arsenal game, West Ham were there for the taking, outside of Southampton I think any other team beats them tonight. We offered absolutely nothing, we didn't fight, we didn't even try. Ruud just doesn't want to be here, there is absolutely no way any manager no matter how bad they are would just keep rolling this out, same formation, same tactic and pretty much the same players, I know the club let him down and lied to him, but what is the point in continuing with this charade. We can't have him in charge next season in the championship, so why carry on? Once again the inability of the clown show needs to remain front and centre. 2 dreadful appointments. Horrific recruitment and general squad building, both in talent and attitude. The only positive and I mean only, was seeing Andy King on the bench and hoping that once this season is done he can help us find ourselves again, because we are lost, like many said its one thing to be bad it's another thing to turn in performances like that.
  2. Fairly clear he lost the dressing room after his comments. I think you have to sack him, not because I think anyone can save this lot, but because he can't be the person in charge next season. As much as I dread to think what the clown show above him will conjure up next, you can't persist with a manager that's lost the dressing room and quite clearly has no interest in being here.
  3. 86th minute at he changes shape. Obviously.
  4. He just does not care. Comes to something when Robbie Savage in the commentary box cares more about the performance than the manager.
  5. No changes. If you ever needed a sign thst he's given up. There it is.
  6. Whilst Cooper was a bad manager, he would never have thrown the towel in and given up. It's unforgiveable.
  7. I don't think saying publicly (whilst true) we are the worst team in the league has worked, no one wants to be out there, he doesn't want to be here, there's no passion no fight. Absolutely nothing it's a pointless exercise even playing at the moment.
  8. 2 more years 😍😍😍
  9. Another passive, going through the motions performance. No one gives a shit, ruud couldn't care less, just going through the motions. Only saving grace is for some bizarre reason west ham are playing 5 defenders and 2 holding midfielders so it might keep it below 4.
  10. Great listen Ric was very much on the cliff edge of stale doughnuts throughout 😅 Agree with the focus your attention at the board not the manager conversation, not that it's right that RVN has chucked the towel in, but its more the reasons why and all we will do is get another desperate manager who we will make the job difficult for. Loved the comparisons between us and Man United, I have been saying all season Man United are us but they have more money to make mistakes with. Until we bring in "football people" at the top end of the hierarchy who have a vision and a plan it's difficult to see how we get back to be a stable premier league club, because right now I can't understand 80% of the things we do.
  11. That Sheffield United team is awful and they are somehow 2nd. This is the reason why I can't see how we aren't a play off team next year, the league is really poor.
  12. It's very annoying, I've got forest friends and family and every time it's a variation of "I can't believe you sacked him because he's ex forest we don't even care about you, stupid decision" etc. Having to explain to them that he was absolutely dog muck so much so players complained daily to Top was getting tiresome. The positive side is now they've bottled "doing a leicester" they've gone quiet. Maybe if they weren't so obsessed with us and focused on the task at hand they wouldn't of bottled it....
  13. Bizarre that Ben Dawson was still with us at all. It would suggest that we are keeping RVN on, you wouldnt announce the removal of 2 coaches, you would just remove the manager and say they are also leaving with him. I can't really work out the plan at all (nothing new there) We didn't back him or support him at all and now when it's too late we are making some moves? I wondered if Top promised him a rebuild in the summer, but that feels a long way off, surely you can't keep RVN in place for a rebuild the way we are going, we might not pick up another point all season, hardly a good platform to build from. I shouldn't be surprised to be honest, just add it to a long ever growing list of weird and bizarre things we do.
  14. Fabulous post 👌 The manager thing is really interesting and I couldn't agree more, because of a lack of a proper DOF and "football people" in general around the board, we are heavily reliant on a proper manager to save us from ourselves.
  15. I think this was one of Fergusons biggest strengths, regardless of talent he knew when to move players on before it got to this point.
  16. I don't understand why they've never really addressed the striker issue, they've played at it for years under him and it's been a huge factor why they haven't got over the line imo.
  17. They just failed to state which version of leicester they were going to do
  18. No worries, I would point you to almost every main stream media outlet that sited a disconnect with the players. Outside of that, and I know you won't believe me but I know for a fact that 4 or 5 of the first team were telling the hierarchy he was out of his depth. Out of interest why do you think he was sacked so quickly?
  19. Spot on, it's easy with the budget we will have to pull together a squad that can get promoted. I look at the likes of Sheff United as where we will likely end up, yes they should get promoted, but for what? It's not a forward thinking team, philosophy, programme. They are essentially going up to get battered and do it again.
  20. Agreed. Cheap, available, interested, heard of him, requires minimal effort, dont need to go scouting, will charm the pants off of them because he talks a good game, plays the football Top is obsessed with, has a promotion to his name. Maybe the club will surprise us and take it all a bit more seriously, but it couldn't be more obvious to me what they will do.
  21. Honestly, they thought it was just a minor blip and we were well and truly back this season. There was no contingency in place incase RVN wasn't good, at the time of sacking Cooper there was a firm belief internally (players and board) that we were a mid table club being poorly managed by Cooper. I know it sounds silly to say because most of us have more common sense and seem to understand football more than some running the club, but now the "but it's only 2 points" line has gone, I think they are only really now genuinely worried, it's all been very similar to 2022 where we were "too good to go down" internally.
  22. It will be interesting to see who the next promoted side to stay up will be. The gap is increasing every year, the money and the stature of the Prem just means that even the most bang average teams can attract talent both on and off the pitch that far outstrips the championship. I think it will take a young team with a good recruiting philosophy and style. The next brentford or brighton as an example, teams like sheff united who are just a hodgepodge of experience and championship players don't really have a chance anymore. You also need to look at who is going to continually struggle, but as teams get better owners and invest more and more they are continually distancing themselves from the championship.
  23. Yes, I have heard some odd things on the skipp deal.
  24. Quite simply the answer is Cooper, whilst he didn't hand pick them, he asked them to find him premier league experience and between them that's what they came up with.
  25. "But it's only 2 points"
