  1. Honestly, this season has made me believe that your average fan understands modern football in all aspects more than our entire club. Shambles in every aspect.
  2. Picking the same team, playing the same way, expecting it to be any different. My only worry is what do the absolute ****ing clowns in charge do next. Ayew and BDR..... couldn't find anyone to improve the squad in Jan. Unreal. Incompetence even by our standards. It's like these idiots don't understand football, the decisions are constantly mind boggling.
  3. I wish it was that good
  4. Feel a bit sorry for him, he's playing that badly, just looks terrified.
  5. Ayew and BDR have been absolutely dreadful, the epitomise everything that's wrong with this squad. They simply don't care, Ayew in particular ****ed it off after the palace game and just walks around collecting his wages. I can deal with VK just being rubbish, but I can't accept the complete lack of effort
  6. This could be the drubbing that gets rid of the passiveness once and for all
  7. Jordan Ayew is pitifully awful. What on earth is he bringing to this team. Even by our standards he's absolutely awful.
  8. Hard to be positive, lost for words with trying to understand the logic of repeating the same mistakes again. On a side note, sorry if I missed Mcateer being injured, but if he isn't what was the point in turning down that bid. Yes we may not of seen the 10m or whatever it was, but he can't even make the squad?
  9. I'm sure there are some automated service emails or communications which is normal. But it doesn't feel like a difficult task to say if a season ticket holder misses 2 games you just pick up the phone and check in with them and see if there's anything the club can help with to stop awful things like this happening. It shouldn't take social media and fan mobilisation to get this on the agenda of the club. Like everyone has said its a culture issue, where those in power would never dream of doing something like that in general so it's not even considered as an option, what I am seeing is a trend that suggests the club think 80% of the fan base are bad eggs and can't be trusted. They are so out of touch with the reality.
  10. It will be on all of them. It's never down to one single individual. The rough process is, manager, coaches, DOF and recruitment team will sit down and analyse the squad and agree on positions of need and then other more explicit traits (we need pace, leadership, experience etc.) Recruitment team will draw up lists of players that meet the criteria in a variety of ways and then the manager and DOF agree to who they want, priority list (i.e. if we bring in X thats a cheap deal that ticks off these areas and means we have more to spend on Y) and leave it with the DOF to negotiate. I appreciate it won't be as linear and easy as that. But that's broadly the process. Steve Walsh was sacked for spending 150m at Everton and they were rubbish, but his counter argument was he recommended a large pool of players that delivered what the manager and DOF asked for, they just picked the wrong ones. I think he said he recommended Haaland and Andy Robertson but the manager and DOF decided to buy different players, but Walsh ultimately was blamed. Which is still probably fair as he did also recommend the shite they bought ha.
  11. As cathartic as ever. Appreciate you going through it. Really enjoyed the guests. Good insight on Evans from Will. I thought Jamie spoke really well re the Foxes Trust which is a particularly thorny subject at the moment, the need for more members to join, to give us the ability to be stronger with the club. I think its important to remember that change will take time as the club holds all the cards and they are trying to change it. Very polite words on Cliff 😅 well held together.
  12. It's not correct, it was Steve Walsh. No he got sacked by Everton for ironically spending around 150m on crap over a 2 year period. Or at least they blamed him for it.
  13. The whole thing is just a mess. Built a squad last season to play possession based football. Bought in the total opposite in Cooper and signed players who were only capable of the opposite style. Alienated the squad because the ones who were here last season hated Cooper and his brand of football. To then sack him and bring in a novice who plays a brand of possession football but give him absolutely nothing to help and expect him to do it with this shite. Cooper and RVN are both bad managers. But they are symptoms of appalling mismanagement and relentless own goals by the decision makers who have no plan or clue what they are trying to do. I am not saying RVN should stay or go, I just have such an apathy for whatever happens because I'm fairly confident they will spend even more money messing it up again.
  14. Their next 3 league games are Newcastle, arsenal and man city. Probably dictates whether or not they end up top 4. Think with man city basically only having that to play for they will get in.
  15. The fact you had Top release a statement yesterday, 2 urgent foxestrust meetings with the board in quick succession and got multiple national media outlets talking about it and a few even saying they understand where it's coming from. I would say it achieved alot, if it didn't have any traction none of those things would of happened. I think just take stock and think about the best way to represent it against Brentford, losing momentum is the only thing that will stop it, doesn't matter if those who were pelting you with abuse like it or not, the facts are it is being talked about and the club are noticing it.
  16. Whilst we can agree/disagree about whether it was done in the right way, it has absolutely shone a spotlight on it and that's just the first one where no doubt many people were on the fence to see how it was received. For TNT to bring it up several times, actually discuss where and why is coming from and at points suggest they can understand the frustrations is a huge leap.
  17. Let's be honest Arsenal were really really poor. Normally a 2-0 loss to Arsenal is nothing to be annoyed about, but you will struggle to get a better opportunity to win considering how bad they were. Ultimately our failure to improve in January will see us go. It's just the same every week, look OK at points, no goals in the side though, i refuse to believe there wasnt a single player out there even on the cheap who could improve us going forward and then after not scoring we just have to wait for the inevitable defender to lose concentration. Sleepwalking into relegation part 2. Look forward to the new review in to where it went wrong. Pathetic attempt at being a proper club again.
  18. Absolutely awful defending from VK. Looks at merino twice, the only option he has to cross to and just jogs back. Arsenal have been terrible and we still couldn't get it done.
  19. We won't get a better opportunity to beat Arsenal, their injuries are quite noticeable they look flat and out of ideas, think they are just hoping for a goal from a corner.
  20. Is mcateer injured? Turning offers down to not make the squad is very Leicester City. Can't really knock the team, it's crap but not many options outside of a formation change which is just not happening under RVN
  21. Yes it will take time, by all accounts, and these are my words not yours 😅 but alot of the "old school" foxestrust have been coasting for too long and somewhere along the way seem to have forgotten their job is to represent the fans, challenge the club, hold them too account. "The board" for lack of better terminology have been sat too comfortably unchallenged for so long, they to have forgotten what it's all about.
  22. Appreciate you coming to explain and give us some insight. I think some of the cynicism from my end at least is just the foxes trust historically has failed in its job, so it might take some time to turn that perception around and also we need to see things actually change, some real meaningful action from the club. Which I know is a tough ask under the current regime. I don't fully understand the FAB rules, but I don't understand how a fan group holding their club to task over performance needs/warrants such levels of confidentiality, transparency and accountability are paramount when it comes to topics like this. Again I appreciate it's not fully in your control.
  23. It's interesting to see the similarities to us last season. When it works its brilliant, but once there's enough video evidence, teams seem to all do the same against Enzoball and figure out how to play against it quickly. Wonder if the players just get a bit bored of the system killing their freedom?
  24. Minus the confidentiality nonsense (can someone please read the room) on the face of it, it sounds positive, but our experience of what the foxestrust deem as "frank and candid" doesn't fill me full of hope that we were well represented...but I guess we will never know, still waiting to find out if anyone was held to account for the worst relegation in premier league history....
  25. I get this, I think it's just the fact he's said anything at all. He very rarely says much and given the timing with protests tomorrow, its a pretty weak attempt at a defence or defiance against them. I think even if its just small numbers tomorrow, they know it's the start or something especially with relegation looking increasingly likely. I don't think this relegation will be applauded...
