  1. The players turned on him and wanted him sacked, so the honest answer is likely we wouldn't of got another point. But it's also completely moot, he lost the dressing room and you don't come back from that, half the first team calling Top and Rudkin to complain about him wasn't going to end up with improved performances.
  2. Agree, people seem to have forgotten how well Vestergaard and Faes looked last season. We had Ndidi playing as a makeshift box to box midfielder and he was great. A team of something like Stolarcyk Woyo Okoli Vestergaard JJ Winks Ndidi Fatawu Alves Mavididi Daka Minus any incomings, subject to bans, could make the play offs with a half decent manager.
  3. If only this was a joke, can't tell you how deluded they were and still are.
  4. Nothing yet, as silly as this may sound I think the unexpected Wolves win has caused more panic. Reality has hit home, I'd imagine alot of conversations are happening.
  5. The whole "we shouldnt of sacked cooper" stuff is absolutely bonkers, Danny Mills/Jamie O'hara levels of stupid football takes. The players were not having him, and turned on him, those extremely lucky wins with a bit of fight happened before he lost the players, they were not happening again, we had already moved into a different phase under him. As you rightly said it had nothing to do with forest. People harping on like we would of still got a few very lucky results under him are just missing the entire point. We would be in the same position possibly worse if we'd stuck with Cooper. Both appointments have been a shambles and neither one should of been considered as fit to manage us.
  6. Whilst I agree with this. I honestly think you might be giving them too much credit, forward planning and understanding it's own fanbase are two of our achilles heels 😅
  7. They might actually get their dream of tourist fans there to watch Man United
  8. Our track record suggests they won't have even heard of him. I don't think we look to far and wide, because that would require effort which we just can't be bothered to do. Expect a "name" or Russel Martin.
  9. Id imagine a chat gpt written statement by Top, followed by complete silence hoping everyone forgets, which of course half the fan base will. Roll out some free doughnuts and continue the gas lighting and brain washing 👌
  10. Arsenal looking as toothless as they did against us, unreal that some looked at that performance as decent. Other than maybe southampton every other team in the prem would of beaten them last weekend and we used it as some kind of guide to say we played well and then roundly got absolutely smashed by Brentford. The delusional culture that's rotting this club to its core is quite something.
  11. Unless there's a managerial change I don't think we will pick up another point all season, and even with one I'm not convinced we will given the fixtures. So I agree, the sooner we drop this narrative we might see the deluded clowns in charge figure it out and start planning for next season.
  12. I think if VAR review it and say we don't know, then that's not clear and obvious. They also showed the ref some bizarre angles. His shirt definitely gets pulled but he goes down like the rat he's always been.
  13. Amazing what a bit of effort and running yourself into the ground can do regardless of technical limitations. Something we don't have and didn't 2 years ago.
  14. Ruud? I was kind of reliably informed via people I know at another club, that all the pre spurs leaks were accurate. He is appalled at the lack of professionalism and culture across the whole club. Furious he was lied to about funds and all signs were pointing to him quitting until Top had a word with him and convinced him to stay on. I have no idea what he was promised, tbh I'm not sure he would of actually quit, 2 walk outs in 2 jobs regardless of the circumstances doesn't look good if he does have genuine ambitions of being a manager. It won't shock you to know there is no back up plan for what if RVN is rubbish. They don't have a clue what to do now, they've gone all in on him internally I think or at least Top has and the lapdogs are just nodding. Sounds like a proper shit show behind the scenes at the minute, I think they know they bought a duffer but similar to RVN walking out of 2 jobs in a row, we are conscious about the optics of 3 managers in a season. This is my personal opinion now, not something i have heard, but outtside of him quitting (I think he wants go be sacked ala rodgers now) I don't think we will make a change because there is no plan for this and we simply don't know what to do.
  15. He just doesn't want to be here, he did a few bits at the start of the season, but since Palace gate, he's not even trying now. He was an embarrassment last night, obviously not the only one, but he downed tools months ago, just going through the motions, collecting his retirement fund. I was hoping leaving him on for the first 5 minutes of the second half to be subbed and get roundly abused for his complete lack of effort instead of being hidden as a halftime substitution was ruud making an example of his lack of professionalism. He shouldn't play another minute for this team, whilst players like VK and Okoli are not good enough, you can see they are trying they are just bereft of confidence and don't have the ability at this level. Ayew is the optime of everything that's wrong with the squad and recruitment.
  16. I don't think we would because the players weren't having him, they are the reason he was sacked. Those scrappy and frankly lucky wins were not happening again, the players turned on him.
  17. If everyone stayed, which is unlikely, but if they did given the huge gap between the championship and the prem it's hard to see the squad not being a play off team. Mavididi, Fatawu, BEK would tear it up under the right manager. Of course if we see good players leave, a transfer embargo and a bottom of the barrel manager come in then that all changes. But this squad would be a striker away from being a decent team, the issue is they'd just get battered again in the prem because the gaps too big.
  18. Considering how quickly they moved to rightly sack Cooper, I haven't got a clue what they seeing with Ruud, and I think given the eyes are on them since the protest from multiple national media outlets, it wouldn't surprise me if their reluctance to sack him stems from this, we've seen already that they value their position and power above doing the right thing for the club.
  19. I think most of us can accept he had a bad pass, dreadful summer window and having to coach out of them the horrible stuff Cooper had them doing. But I don't think any of us can accept just blindly doing the same thing over and over and expecting it to be different. I don't know how much more evidence he needed to see, his selection, formation and tactics can't work with this set of players. And shoving Okoli to right back instead of changing the system was a huge red flag that he is either too stubborn to ever change it or he hasn't got a clue how to do anything else. He said a while ago that these players can only play in one way, I actually think it might be him who can only coach a team to play in one way. It's either that or he has downed tools and is just being stubborn to prove a weird point to the board. Either way it's not sustainable. Whilst I'm still largely ambivalent whether he goes or stays at the moment because I have absolutely no faith in the decision makers to get the next one right, we can't persist with him next season. Just too many red flags suggest he's unwilling to learn.
  20. The interview of a man that knows he's done but also making sure its known that he wasn't given a competitive squad by the clowns in charge.
  21. Be careful what you wish for, we used to be in league one don't you know. Etc. Etc. Etc.
  22. Yep, unlikeable set of mercenaries bar 2 or 3 of them. Ran by a complete clown show, who have brainwashed half the fan base with doughnuts to just accept this. What's the point? The club doesn't give a shit the players don't and half the fan base think this is just where we belong. I give up.
  23. Media outlets are clocking on to this. The more we move away from the FA Cup win the harder it is to defend the clowns.
  24. I know there's alot you can fire at RVN. But one simple thing that is just jaw dropping, is bringing Vestergaard on for coulibaly and not changing shape....but moving Okoli to right back, he's getting absolutely shredded. That is as about as dogmatic and stubborn as it gets. He's either given up or this is genuinely how he sees football, either way you can't persist with him long term. If we need to wait until the summer to buy out a good manager then fine let him just bury his reputation and this god awful team.
  25. My expectations were low when we inexplicably signed him. But ****ing hell, one of the worst we've ever had, slow, lazy and couldn't give a shit. Somehow has been the first name on the team sheet for both managers.
