  1. Where was this? 😂
  2. Lets not forget this is a club getting 12,000 fans in for home games not long ago at this ground. I know they have had their issues but to suddenly start pricing their two local rivalries like this is so tone deaf. They could quite easily be back to being a bottom half championship club in 3 or 4 years and they wouldn't even think about that kind of price then. This is when you really see what clubs think of fans. Forget the empty gestures now and again.
  3. I am not a fan of Enzo's philosophy but I won't rant about that again. What I don't get is why we look like we have found the ripped notes to Enzo's tactics but only found the first part. There's no actual plan but they still want to show the hierarchy that they have some of that philosophy. It's very reminiscent of Cooper clearly being caught between pragmatism and wanting to demonstrate a willingness to play some of that style. There's benefits to it when it works but like anything you need to pick and choose your time to use it. This idea that managers like Russell Martin have that he will stick to it no matter what and let games pass them by or have mistake after mistake is genuinely moronic and why he's been sacked twice.
  4. That's fair. I just don't think he gets enough credit for the good parts of his game. His technical ability is brilliant, especially for this level. He's never going to be the answer to a goalscoring number 9 but it's unfair to pin that on him. He shouldn't be playing anything like the next 25 games as a 9 either and I hope we don't do that.
  5. I disagree with this. My biggest frustration with him is how much he goes down because referees just stop giving him anything, and rightly so. He does it way too often. But I don't think you can doubt his technical ability and him bringing others into play. Since Reid has come in, he has players around him who are actually good enough to link up too. He has his faults no doubt, he's too slow to be a Premier League player now. But I can see why he's been at the top level for so long.
  6. That's the reason they've done it. Maximise profit. The issue is what will that amount of profit even do for a football club in comparison to how out of pocket it makes the average football fan? It's absolutely disgusting when you weigh it up like that.
  7. I've got national express on boxing day when I lived in Nottingham. Not technically allowed to drink on there but people usually ignore the sssssssssss as a can opens. Allegedly.
  8. Ayew gets a really hard time but his technical ability and his ability to get us up the pitch is good. What's your beef?
  9. Faes, Soumare, Winks etc are very easy to shift. They're leading championship level and always have Prem teams sniffing. Rudkin is a very good negotiator too apparently.
  10. One thing that stood out for me, more than the goal, was just how good we carry the ball forward now and look a genuine threat. His, and Ayew's, intelligence in bringing others into play is so good. With the threat on each wings that we possess we really can blow any team away at this level. Saturday was the best we've managed a game and even though they still put us through it because of the mistake, we look like we are learning from the hideous game management in recent weeks. There's a lot to be positive about.
  11. It was a poor dive and in the end, like you say, it turned out to be a good thing for us. That summer was miserable though. Everyone on here was predicting we'd have a hangover from what happened and be right near the bottom. We only got in the play offs that season after some horrific form to drop out the top 6. Then I don't think we signed anyone. But the rest is history
  12. Didn't go well for them when they got there either did it? I love how they try and erase the part where Watford didn't even go up. It's almost like it would render that moment pointless and not let them reshow it 8764839393 times.
  13. You just know he's going to try this when we're 2-0 to some shite and we're all going to lose our shit
  14. This is a bit like asking which restaurants in Leicester Margot Robbie would like
  15. Because of the state of officiating at this level I was absolutely convinced he was going to give a free kick. Took me a while to celebrate. Watching it back, it's absolutely the right decision. But even the commentators were calling him unlucky. It's one of them that they're taught to do and we've almost become accustomed to seeing given. Well done to the Ref for showing some common sense.
  16. The thing is though we pay amounts no one else are even thinking about. Coady openly admitted he could not believe what he was offered while he was still here. The way they've operated with wages hasn't been bad luck. Even if it was they haven't learned anything have they?
  17. Vestegaard always looks so happy when we score now. I always try and look at the reactions of players when we score. Now more than ever after the disgraceful celebrations of Monga's goal at Preston. It's really telling when some of them don't react.
  18. Genuinely astonishing we have somehow managed to make this game we've absolutely dominated turn into this
  19. Hope this makes everyone realise there is not one team in this division we should be fearing. Certainly not to laughable degree everyone does in pre match threads.
  20. Lot of clichés in here today. Almost expected to read it's a game of two halves at one point.
  21. Has anyone made the joke that even if he had no legs he'd be better than Daka? Seems like a funny, original joke to make and it'll get loads of laughs.
  22. I've even transfer listed him on FM. That's how angry I am
  23. Clearly believes in his head that the club was doomed when Enzo left and everything that's happened since is someone else's fault. We have so many players who won't accept any accountability for the relegation. I bet if you asked Harry Winks and Wout Faes they'd both say they're levels above the championship and all that's gone on has been because of bad recruitment and poor managerial choices. One bad egg you can deal with, but the amount we have would cause any club serious issues. This is all self inflicted again though. I don't blame the club for signing Winks. I actually think it was the right decision. The finger needs pointing at the wages though. If they don't give him such a ludicrous contract then they have the chance to offload him. Another one where they've ensured we will see him go on a free.
