We are not going to be able to spend loads on transfers the next few windows I imagine so making use of free signings is something we need to do. Might not be the superstar we all want but this season is all about staying up and then try and build on that . He could be a good squad player to have around and use what money we have to get players in other positions we need

Sure they will get over it when they sell Gallagher to someone like spurs or villa for 60 mil and they buy someone better than him .

Pretty mad ain’t it has any one lasted more than 1 season with him in charge? I don’t get why you just don’t offer managers 1 year with an option if you are doing well can’t see how offering 5 years to any one is a good idea

I like the way it’s a 5 year contract with an option of another year when in reality he isn’t likely to make it to 2 years
