Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

And aside from the goals, he's not involved that much. Dont get me wrong, he's far far far more involved than last season when he was a complete a passenger I've ever seen. He now looks OK, ish. As a stand in. And maybe, he's got a nice knack for reading the game and happens through skill - and not luck - to be nicely positioned to score these goals -
Well, if that's the case, he needs to be on reporting duties only to fulfil his contractual obligations. 8am every four weekdays and matchday - all at Belvoir Drive. Then has to clock off at 12noon.
-
Well, spends if they use Susan Whelan Charity Shield Blueprint 1. Bus 1s get four weeks but with 'danger of death' COVID warnings to frighten them + additional comforting messaging that Valencia friendly is completely COVID safe. 2. All other STs 48 hours before kick off 3. General sale, 5 mins before kick off for 30 seconds.

Middlesbrough were desperately poor side at our place.
-
He's actually the captain,.in all but armband. Watch the tunnel at half time. And various other captain's moments - huddles, after goals, conversations with refs.
-
Just reading the report on last night's honourable defeat to near enough a test level side....but see they are playing in Cape Town next up. Anyone know if they run a trip out there? Kinda Tempting....
-
He was always likeable, to me at least. Just horribly mismanaged (like many others) and thrown to the wolves thanks to an absurd fee 5 or 6 times the going rate.
-
Only two today. Good to see the Rugby tackle make an appearance though! And set up the first goal courtesy of a horror touch
-
Ipswich, I'm afraid, have patented luck. Only they may use it
-
Anyone care to join me in Luke Thomas bingo today? *The angled '2 o clock' short pass inside to Vesty *The rugby tackle tackle *The 'corkscrew' successful pass where in a complete mess and under pressure, his body shape contorts into a corkscrew routine and just about manages to get off a pass inside, usually to Skipp *The one hand semaphore stretch, used when completely mugged off for pace, he can't even grab hold of the opponent's shirt to foul *Being robbed of the ball around 45 yards out *Shepherding the ball out of play but concedes a corner in blind panic *Caught napping, finding himself wrong side of his man (who's read the game) and concedes a soft goal as a direct result
-
Pretty sure it was a year ago today for that, what was for me, an extraordinary moment of horor at St James Park when Ward was in the tunnel to come out for the second half.. The look on his face was every bit that of a condemned man prior to a public hanging (and in many ways, metaphorically, it was indeed just that)

Average to poor is being generous. He's levels range from unbelievably, unprofessionally bad to poor for 75% of his games. Anything above poor is a good game for him. He's that rare level of bad - Ward level - that it sucks the energy for the whole team. It's staggering that professional manager cannot see that. Cooper did, Enzo did. Wilder did. Carrick did. Every opposition manager does

Ward would've done that move he made his own; half toilet seat squat with NZ haka style slap of thighs

If you're gonna grind it out, you've gotta pop an extra midfielder in. With the resources available, that was Faes to sit in there. As for Like Thomas. After a rare performance above humiliation on Saturday, it was back to basics for him. I've never seen a pro get his body in so many unusual angles. It's like having Prof Steve Hawkings at left back. -
I have winks benefit of doubt in the Dutchman saga, on the basis Winks had credit in the bank and the Dutchman had none. Now, I'd love to see this thread closed. He's a stain on the club and his time here needs bleaching out.

Not all.....

Delighted with result but league one Derby were every bit as poor as I'd expect a team from the lower divisions to be. Amongst their top 5 biggest games in 19 years and then to be horribly, brutally bummed on national TV. One has to feel for them.
-
Just can't believe anyone is remotely pleased with that line up. Our only striker that worries teams (regardless of his faults) is dropped. The worst and weakest full back in professional football. Bdcr essentially doesn't play. Skipp offers at best a 5/10 performance. Ricky for all his talent is physically weak. It's a powder puff slow weak, tactically basic xi. Absolutely hideous. The opponents only have to show some muscle and we are blown out of the water, every week.
-
Another game where we select the two weakest men in professional football, Thomas and Reid.
-
Mate, I'm quite happy to admit I can't stand them. In the 18 fcking years since they permanently humiliated their brand . the only teams they've played whose names stretch beyond an immediate fanbase are Leeds, Forest (much as it sickens me to say it) Man U in a cup game. And now us. What for us is the nadir of the last 13 years, tomorrow is their fourth highpoint.
-
Outside of Burton, Nottingham and Leicester they are the epitome of footballing nobodies. Forest's cuck.
-
Whatever our current shambles, in the 18 years since they humiliated themselves in the premier league, their 'brand' in wider football world is now par with Huddersfield, Preston, Bradford or Blackpool. Not us. Far from being a highlight or cup final to play them, it sums up our demise. The lowest of low ebbs.
-
Anybody, absolutely anything, any system, formation other than first-name-on-the-team-sheet-under-marti Luke Thomas. But, ofc, he'll be first name in the team sheet
-
The notion of him having a bad attitude is largely based on his hairstyle coupled with him playing in a very very poor period for us.
