JJ is exactly the example why I feel Faes gets an unfair ride.. Our environment since the Rodgers relegation season isn't conducive to players thriving. JJ needed to move the prosper. Youri needed to move. Barnes tbf has basically been the same. Hamza enjoyed his time at Sheffield Utd. Iversen enjoyed Stoke and Preston..VK enjoyed Italy. Souttar enjoyed Sheffield United. Soumare enjoyed Seville. There's a stink of death that envelopes the club. Edit; conversely, having just watched on YouTube spurs v city from 10 years ago, the ultra positive working environment propelled pretty standard players; simmo, Albrighton, shinji, Fuchs, Ulloa, Kingy into levels they hadn't dreamed of.

Thats kinda my point. The club has been a car crash the minute he walked through the door. And he gets a large portion of blame for it. But I listed some of the reasons why his time with us has gone badly. It's not all his fault. That's my point. He's likely a decent 15m level player, ie what we bought, who's been playing in a car crash of a football club. Very few could thrive - and enjoy - that environment. As a professional (ie a hired gun) footballer, he's within his rights to prefer a career move to a more stable, more positive environment

He's played with Daniel Amartey as his partner. He's played with no goalkeeper behind him for 20 games (as evidenced at Liverpool with his double own goal..he didn't trust the shout). He's played with the slowest man on earth in Vesty. He's played with the worst player in our history with Luke Thomas..He's worked with three of the worst managers possible to find, and another who had mentally checked out. And all the time, taken a shit load of abuse online which, lots of probably stems from simply wearing an extravert's haircut..

Blimey. And we wonder why most the players hate us and all choose to live in Nottingham? A half decent but flawed defender. Bought at 15m to replace a 75m player and the manager chose not to field a goalkeeper behind him for his first 20 games, which, frankly, can't have helped. I have no insight at all if he's a nice enough fella (seems it to me) or the arrogant nasty bstard he's assumed to be by 99.999% on here. I've never even heard him speak to make a call either way.

It's not just abroad. I think each could thrive in the PL too, with decent coaching, a winning team, playing to their strengths and the pressure lifted off being by not being paid obscene sums which the players themselves know they can't provide value for. Most of the players have worked with us in appalling circumstances.

About this, albeit Ricky has been horrific this season for my money. Ricky at LB tho. Hamza or Okoli at RB (Vesty at CB if Okoli shifts) But after that, yours is about our best line up, little does the manager know.

I thought that today for Thomas. I was pleading for the ref to award a straight red for that late foul

Thomas back in at LB over Hamza. BdcR back in foe Page. Ayew back I. over Daka. The exact three changes he shouldn't make will be the very first things he does.

I fully expect the manager to fall back to his same ol' safe bet of the nine man formation, ie starttong Thomas and BdcR, and 3-0 down at half time

Is anyone still clinging on to their irrational dislike of the lad, all because of a fee over which he had no control? He's a very likeable player. And we saw a rare 9/10 performance today. Haven't seen any of our players put in a 90min performance in a long time, at any level.

Our better performances this season have come when Daka plays as striker. Okoli has faults but his physique and speed improves us. Luke Thomas should never play.

What? And leave us with Luke Thomas? Hamza only has to put in performances of 4/10 each week to give the team a huge % boost, both in performance and spirit. Thomas's inclusion is energy sapping. Particularly for Skipp and Nelson who have to bail him out

He isn't great. But there's enough raw material for a half decent.coach to work with at this shocking level of football. And, his attitude appears spot on.

And four players each week who can't run even if they wanted to. Over 33% of the side can't hack it physically. Must be demoralising for those that do (or can) run

The fitness difference between him and the limp wristed willow the wisp BdcR, deary me. He's got swagger. He's going places.

He was pretty ropey but light years ahead of the usual clown. Just by being a fit professional footballer instead of a Sunday morning parks player

Absolutely this. Well said. Plus BdcR, Ayew, Thomas and now Ricky can't run. The simply haven't got the capacity. But the manager insists on selecting them.

He chooses the lazy.

The manager could actually play players who are able to put in the miles, but chooses not to. A dyche character would immediately give the fittest/strongest/fastest players metrics to work to - and so take the pressure off a bit. Our manager prefers the weak, the lame, the asexual
