Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Paninistickers replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
The queue for the job would've been miles long. However, the club seems to appoint managers on a 'never 'erd of 'em' basis and if a, say Liam Rosenior had applied (which in all probability he might've) ....the CV would've been dismissed out of hand. Cooper was a painfully unimaginative choice. Lives local. Managed similar club to safety. Can work on a budget.... ....'e'll do' -

Mate, it isn't personal but really, the Dutchman has treated players, fans, the club like dogshit. He jubilantly celebrates each defeat with opposition players. He's statistically the worst manager ever seen in the PL and has guided us to the worst home record ever recorded in football. You are clearly a good LCFC man. He doesn't deserve your loyalty your faith or your good wishes. **** him. -
The JAMIE VARDY STAND. Rename the Kop.

Banks is a funny one. Treated like shit when he war forced out, we skimoed in his loyalty bonus and he was rightly a bit miffed.. In the 80s though, he was down Filbet Street all the time. Testimonial I think too. When he weren't there he was at Swithland Motors selling cars and raffle tickets. Co Comms at atletico away cheering us on Eurosport Then,.must be last 90s, stoke decided he won the world cup with them, built a statue and he went senile and he was never out of the ****ing place. -

Nee na nee na nee na .....it's the cuck squad! -
Cannot stand him. Arrogant AF. He broke the golden rule when openly criticising / undermining Puel. No matter whether he was right, he expressed views from inside the camp on TV. However, it is evidence that his inside chatter is accurate. So interesting developments possible.

He doesn't even represent us..played what, 6 or 7 league games for us? Yet gives it the John Terry, Wes Morgan routine. It's like Wout Weghorst assuming the role of Man U spokesperson during his spell in 2023. Edit; Whatever happened to the old 'do your talking in the pitch'? ...shut up man
-
I don't. He's not one of us. He's given us nothing. At least Vesty and Faes got us promoted. And, much forgotten, Vesty's heroic defensive cameo away at Rennes. Coady is a leach

Yup, I want to like him and he's been poor. Though shattered confidence and poor management hasn't helped matters.. As disappointing as the signing has been, I reckon every single championship side would play him and, I'd suggest most importantly, most managers would know how to play him. Ball in front of him, run onto it and smash it. Go to war with what you have, not what you want etc

What strategy? The sell-a-player-a-year one? Because that weren't strategic. -

Hindsight speaking, but we were never the model to follow. Just results made it look like that. Even this supposed 'sell one big player a season' wasn't strategy. It was circumstances. Kante, Drinkwater, Maguire (albeit very professional), Mahrez, Chilwell all pushed for moves. If we'd had any choice, we'd have kept them. -
It's about (Thai) money. The sort that needs a good 40 degree wash. Always has been.
-
I'm not even sold on that tbh. Ranieri? Puel? Sven? All picked out of an agent's goodie bag. 4 year contracts for the perma injured Matty James. Slimani. That weakling Silva. Musa. Mendy (he looks like Kante!) ....the clues were all there.

yet he gets picked! By two managers! beggared belief that Cooper picked him ahead of Mavididi at the opening game. I was aghast (an adjective I've never typed before but is 100% accurate) Then for the Dutchman to reintroduce him. There's this mystique about elite level professional football and the complexities within. But that theory is seriously under review via the logic defying decisions by Cooper, Ben Dawson and the Dutchman this season.. Could a punter take a training session beyond a five a side and running between cones? No chance..Could same punter from the stands pick the strongest xi and 'set us up' - absolutely -

It surely isn't up for debate that this guy is atrocious. Yet one or two are in here defending him. If only I could video edit and create a showreel of this season's contributions of scuffs, miskicks,.powder puff kicks plus his defensive work of 'standing vaguely in position'. He's only touched the ball maybe 30 times in his 10 games or so, so wouldn't take long to cobble together -
I tend to agree. He comes across well and on the surface seems a nice lad. I'm prepared to give him the benefit of doubt (he's earned it, the Dutchman has earned nothing) and that there's more to the story than we know about. But, if it is at it seems, it's very very disappointing stuff

Open Top Bus Parade for Danny Ward

If you watched Anstey Nomads over the course of the season against say 20 opponents, you'd see 5 or 6 better keepers. At least. And he's got a CV like that. -

Danny Ward in the tunnel at Newcastle. The condemned man look. 'Oh Lord, have mercy on me, for I have sinned' -
What?????????? When? West Ham and Brighton we were totally outplayed and the other win was against an injury ravaged Spurs. The 'best' performance we had under the Dutchman was a fairly meek but fairly harsh 2-0 defeat to.Man City. 0-0 was maybe reflective of the game You've gotta demand better standards than that matey.

Apols, was a bit personal and that wasn't fair.. But back to football, exactly what @SafewayFox writes above.

The crowd give Ayew a hard time. But he's not air. He's a handful and can be useful..I'd have never have paid money from him in a million years. But he has some decent qualities. But this guy? Gas. Air. Just pure nothing. He just vaguely positions himself in the right area but defensively is no more of an inconvenience than a cone. Maybe calling him air was unkind. He's a mobile cone. A.cone strapped to a remote controlled car. That a watching coach (or wife) in the stands desperately tries to manoeuvre into position. -

Manager don't have to pick him though. -
Classic Dutchman's cuck response. They can't wait to side with thier bull and lay blame at the feet of Stephy and Buonanotte (he gives the ball away!) ....
