Yup, people can't separate personality from performance and be objective In a low block, he's a PL capable defender. He's shown that for us (Man City, Rennes stick out) on the rare occasions we played a low block. Same with Souttar at Newcastle. He was clearly a step above most championship defenders even with a high line, the very thing that would expose his flaws. As you say, a good partner and/or system covers that. Footballing wise, in terms of passing and game intelligence, he's wayyyyy above average even at PL level And yeah, agree there might be debate over his attitude. In some ways though, I kinda like that he calls poor managers out and gets the arseys about not playing. Would I have handed him three years though?! Not a chance,! Not his fault though that Rudkin did.

It's neither. I've always felt LCFC is a vehicle for KP financial chicanery. It's almost irrelevant whether the club loses or makes money (Psr rules aside). The club is necessary to KP. Nothing to do with whether Top likes it

Vardy, Ward and Iversen to leave at the end of the month.
Paninistickers replied to ramboacdc's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just a hunch, but I think he could well be finished. I don't think he's professional standard. His best bet might be to move abroad to a semi pro level league, Sweden for example, that still has some kudos. Or perhaps to the jock league. Either way, you're talking 500 quid a week as opposed to Rudkin's 50k a week -

There's helluva slot of Dutchman cucks on here who'd vehemently claim that Iversen was worse or equally as bad as Ward. Devil or deep blue sea stuff. When challenged at the time as to who championship clubs would select given a free choice between Ward and Iversen, well, now the opinion most normal fans had is actually fact. -

I agree. The few times I've heard him speak, he seems a nice lad. The fact he's non league level ability innit ay sense is irrelevant. I'm a bit mixed on whether begging both Rodgers and the Dutchman to be dropped speaks well of his character,.or, is literally a dereliction of duty. Sadly for him,.the humiliation comes not only the reputation he has with fans, but also that deep deep knowledge that although his teammates were friends, the imposter syndrome levels must've been off the scale.. Millionaire or not, that kind of professional embarrassment cuts deep. I wish him well and hope he finds a level which he's comfortable and popular at. -
I'm often impressed by the speed of European policing. Usually in just a matter of minutes they've managed to not only investigate but also reach a conclusion that various knife and car attacks 'aren't thought to be terror related'

Liked by Conor Coady! You're part of the problem Ricky is referring to, you cvnt! We were being successful whilst peak Coady wasn't fit to wipe our arse
-
Special mention for how utterly garbage he was yesterday. Half decent but ultra basic,.routine defending. Nearly gave away a penalty as per. Those long blind raking passes for Traore that, as Traore ain't there, go out of play Captain FFS. Enough to make you puke.

Is he? Did Martin celebrate on the pitch with the opposition star players after every Southampton defeat? Did Martin refuse to pick his six or seven better players every week?

I never get this. I forgot more about football in my in my sleep last night than Top will ever know about football.. If I bought a racehorse, or NFL, I wouldn't have a clue to demand how the nags ran (make it run like the fast ones!) or what gamebook to employ (make them play like Patrick Machines does!) ....well that's Top with football.
-
That's the point. All they will play are Randers, Braga and Luhansk. Our least interesting games. They won't be playing any of the classic football cities we did. As @Bilo points out, the only possible proper game they might have is Lazio.
-
I get how they'd feel tonight. European football is great. Tbh, I was t too fussed that we fell into EL and missed CL. Want too fussed when we fell into the conference league from EL. Warsaw, Athens, Moscow, Naples, Rome, Rennes, Prague, Eindhoven. Proper cities, proper names. The difference is, they will be playing the equivalents of Randers and Luhansk and, at absolute best, Braga. With no prospects of EL teams dropping in to raise the profile. It's fun, but it's not proper European football

I like listening to Martin. And he's a professional. Unlike the Dutchman who just trades on his name. But, what in earth is on Martin's CV that suggests he's a decent appointment? OK at Mk? Average at Swansea? About par with Southampton? But as always, Rudkin is shortlists his list to managers he's heard of. It's no more technical than that.

Marvelous..well done Aberdeen. Cannot stand either of the old firm.
-
Well, I'd suspect that 'BC Game' is very very very, VERY close to KP, so they'd have a pretty good idea

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I posted something similar earlier in season that Ben Dawson and the Dutchman have kinda proved that lots of professional managers rely on smoke, mirrors Wizard of Oz stuff. For that nine game home run, it is factually correct to say a fan could not have done worse. If you listen to players and managers, retired and current, on local radio, national TV or on podcasts, nothing they say mid game is much different to a punter. Move it quicker, too slow in transition, passing is way off, want it more etc etc -
Mate, I reckon holidays are different to travelling. A family break, in the sun, beers, beach burgers and a pool. Happy Days.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Paninistickers replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nah, like, I'm not exactly overwhelmed by him. But in the context of this season and hideous, weakling garbage like BdcR, he's ok. Certainly not worthy of the opprobrium he gets from many -

Paninistickers replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Find it insulting that he's even remotely tarred with the BdcR brush. He's a useful, niggly, clever player. He's a bit quicker than he looks too. -
Been thinking for who in the PL he could play. Oddly, i reckon Brentford. Underdog mentality and a super structured way of playing, surrounded by players who do the hard miles

Have to say i Iiked that Drinky got a good reception. Great four years he had for us. What a shame that ended up being almost his entire career

What a jibberish post. Every combo of midfield,?? He played Wilf and Soumare for fck knows how many consecutive defeats.. Mavididi has barely played. Okoli is going as he's been treated like shit. Buonanotte treated like shit. The difference between Iversensen and Ward is one is championship level and the other would be on the bench at Tamworth. The Dutchman did nothing to arrest the slide. No change in tactics or formation or personal..Either because he didn't know how to or is too arrogant to admit he was wrong. -
Was Ward out there on the pitch?

Paninistickers replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
What, playing Bob Reid ahead of Ayew and Buonanotte. In fact playing literally anyone ahead of Buonanotte. Freezing out Stephy. Freezing out Okoli. Playing Ward over Iverson. Playing Coady who couldn't make a championship team last season. Playing Wilf and Soumare as a two when it was clear they couldn't cope. There's plenty he could've done, personnel wise, formation wise and tactically. I'd have got more points as manager than this cvnt -

Absolutely extraordinary. It's definitely a Stockholm syndrome thing with a good 20k of our 28k crowd.
