Brentford 4 Leicester 1 Post Match Thread.

What a day eh? . Ben Dawson. This time last week a total unknown. This week, a name never to be forgotten. Deary me. -
That's a fair and generous post of you. And i do agree about the subbing of Buonnotte. The only vaguely professional thing Dawson did today. We have managed to nick ten points this season. Don't overcomplicate as caretaker. Look up some stats. when have we played well? Who played on them days? Who does the miles? Who puts their foot in? ....and as far as possible, play the most predictable performers. He left at least four - and possibly six - predictable performers on the bench. And one off the bench completely.
-
The unwarranted shite Stowell used to take on here. Decent fella, unbiased to whoever the current manager was and whose main function was basically to provide some continuity, some LCFC culture and a bit of soul to the place. And he did. Adam Sadler wasn't cut out as caretaker but had worked his way up through the ranks, again in isolation of Rodgers.
-
That's just totally wrong dude. Absolutely wrong. The clue is in the name of the job.. Care. Take. Any changes needed to be reintroducing senior players who Cooper had alienated. Not a root and branch destruction and rebuild inside four days.
-
Dawson. Just let that name sink in. Dawson. Daaawwwsssonnn. Breathe in. Absorb. Leet. Lewis. Eccles (iykyk). Dawson. Edit to add Pat Gavin. Again, those of the Pleat years will know.
-
Mavididi, Daka, Vesty, Skipp, VK would all have started for me. McAteer would've been on bench and I'd have looked to bring him / Hamza / ayew / Bilal on at some stage dependent on the game situation.
-
And I won't let it go. I will hound this man out of football. At last, I have found my calling!
-
This guy will never, ever be forgotten. Dawson is scar tissue. It was a Raygun moment of fame for him
-
Absolutely this.
-
Agree, but the Rodgers pair didn't try and reinvent the wheel. They actually stuck to a plan. It was madness, but I guess you could argue at least they practiced what they'd preached under Rodgers. This guy, a total nobody, decided to rewrite the rulebook. He had no right to. He isn't qualified to. He was asked to look after the team, keep it steady Instead he chose to wreck it. Shameful
-
No hyperbole. I think that was the worst managerial performance ever. Worse than Taylor. Staggering. It's a stain on our history. We'll never forget today I suppose.
-
An absolute disgrace Dawson. Stick to the bibs and cones man. Asked to look after a 180m business for a day and fcking plays silly games with it. Fck.off.
-
It's like me being asked to run a restaurant for a couple of days. Chef's . Specials are lasagna and chicken burger. New chef starts tomorrow. I think, nah fck it, I'm gonna create a new eight course euro Asian fusion tasting menu using only garden produce.

Ok BdcR on now. The icing on the cherry on the shittest of cakes.
-
Nope. Faes is what he is. He's contributed to wins. He has some credit despite his gaffs. Coady is just total garbage. Played 2 mins this season and coats is 2 points
-
Get Coady off you cvnt
-
Whoever this Dawson is, he needs to have a 10 or 11-1 defeat on his CV to highlight his decisions today
-
I wanted a solid tight reliable starting xi. Strong, fit, fast. Keep it basic. Skipp. Mavididi are absolute certs to start. Vesty is mikes ahead of Coady. VK is physically miles ahead of LT. Daka can at least lead a press. Keep. It. Simple. Stupid
-
What, five at the back? It can take weeks of coaching to create a new system. You don't do these things on the hoof
-
Wtf does he he think he is trying to reinvent the wheel in two or three days and leave five/six first teamers on the bench? The word is Caretaker. Take fckin Care. Not root and branch restructure when you aren't even remotely qualified to do so. An absolute grade A tvvat

Even more galling that there's six players on the bench who could all easily claim to be in our strongest starting xi -

The team maybe has a weird, voyeuristic fascination. In the same way a victorian freak circus had. Or those rows of pickled bottles on lab shelves with deformed foetuses. It's macabre. It's grotesque. It's beautiful! -

In a way, it's a shame BdcR ain't starting as that'd end his career too along with Coady and Thomas -

If there's a bet available for number of passes to Okoli, I'd recommend that. The pleading in his eyes as he makes the pass too....Caleb! Help me!
